No, sorry. Is your ear ok?

no it's got worse. on my 2nd ear drops and 2nd oral meds for it. it's gotten so bad i can't take any touch to the outside of my ear , some days. some days it;s ok - others i want to rip it off.
he said (my doc) if this med don't work he'll have to send me to a ear specialist. my dad said they;d probably drain it. so i was wondering about that.
like would it be one day, in and out or take all freaking day. will it be ok after or will it take a few days to get better /heal up. will they knock me out. or .. i just don;t know what to expect.
it will probably have to be done tho cu it feels like it;s closed up. it's inflamed that bad.

Well, in terms of anesthetics and all...i wouldn't see why not, and im sure they'd have no problem doing it for you. more money for them for the nitrous paid for by insurance... But that sounds suckish...and weird, that you can actually drain an ear...eww...creepy lol

If there is a recurring build up of fluid they may drain your ear and put a grommit in.. I've had several of these since I was 3, because I had perforated eardrums that never healed (had a myringoplasty last year..) The grommits and draining are nothing to worry about. The pain subsides really quickly - I bet it will make your ear feel way better instantly! If they do go down the path of grommits, they knock you out and put a tiny "funnel" type of things (looks like a miniature cotton reel) in your eardrum. It just helps your ear to drain itself more effectively. It's usually a one day thing, and let you out as soon as the anaesthetic wears off

i go back for a check up in another week so i don't kwo what is going to happen yet. i'm not to worried aboutpain or anything. i'm pretty thick when it comes to pain. i just dont want to take off alot of days if i can;t have water in it for a few dasy or it takes a few to heal.. i like my money (and my job lol)

Ooh I'm not sure about the water thing - I was always made to avoid water because of the giant perforations in my eardrums. I can't see that you will have to take much time off, I remember that mine felt better within a couple of days. Hopefully they won't have to do too much to you!
