Well in my dads mind all LBGTs are going to hell. I found out today when the person on facebook told my dad what I wrote on facebook. When I walked in (I'm already tired from the homcoming parade) and he says "so I hear your for gay rights on facebook" in the snotyest tone I have ever heard. It made me want to punch him but I didn't. I said "no not really. I just don't see how it effects other people or other peoples marriage.""yes it does!" agian with the snotty tone. "and how's that?" I said it very calmly. "because they are all going to hell" snotty tone"eegh! What ever!" and I left the room. Sorry I just had to vent! I'm so mad at dad!

I'm sorry!A lot of people think that way. My own family and my church turned their back on me. I haven't spoken to my family members in 20+ years.Living a gay lifestyle is hard. it's a lot harder for others too. I wouldn't wish anyone to purposely choose this lifestyle. Being Gay isn't a choice. someone would have to be insane to want to live with this much hate, repression... It's hard. I'm sorry your dad said those things...

Thats awful. Everyone should be entitled to their own opinion though.
I agree with you.. but its something you'll probably hear for your whole lifetime.

sigh... I'll tell you what the TYP girls told me today when I approached them about my "problems" of campus."suck it up and deal with it. that's the world for you. can't do a damn thing about it."
