My OBGYN just switched me over to Seasonale (at my request - who could argue with only getting your period 4x a year). I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about it. Negative or Positive. The only negatives I've heard so far that is since the hormones in the pill are so strong is affects your appetite and makes you hungry which would make you gain weight... but other than that no one has said anything....

Seasonale

you can have a lot of breakthrough bleeding with it, but that's normal with that brand

Heavy breakthrough bleeding or spotting?

spotting is more normal with that, however i was on it for awhile and my breakthrough bleeding got a little rough at times, i decided to switch back to the monthly

im on a pill that basically does the same thing, ive been on it for about a year now, and its great. the first 4 packs get a bit tough before the end, but you have to stick it out, and the next 4 are a breeze.
