i have an xp but some of my yotube downloader isn't working properly. i even ask some people regarding dazzle. from what i hear, dazzle only records example....things on tv and put it on the internet. i wanted to find a way to download something that's alreadly is online like some of my favorite anime or cartoons. i know how to transfer to dvd. but i'm afraid some of my dvds will get all scratched up and will be nonusable. so i just wanted to do things an alternative way. is there's a way i could transfer carttons that's already online to offline with a device i could purchase from the store? i need help. i'm sad :(

There are a lot of free YouTube downloaders as you'll see if you google "youtube downloader" or "save youtube videos" or anything of the sort. Some of them work directly on web pages using webscripts so the operating system shouldn't matter. YouTube doesn't like people downloading their videos, though, so every now and then it tries to change things so they stop working, but they always seem to bounce back.
More generally, if you find where your browser cache is, you can look for video files in the cache if you have already looked at the video. Often video files are easily recognisable because they are so big (but you have to guess what sort of video file they are). This doesn't always work, as many sites break longer videos into shorter bits.
