I saw a discussion about sleep, so I thought I would ask and share my experience. I used to sleep 8 hours and still felt bad, but when I sleep 6 hours, all day I feel good. How does this make sense?

I don't know for sure the answer to your question, but mood does affect the need (or apparent need) for sleep. Many people who are depressed sleep more than usual, and still feel fatigued and unrefreshed, while people with mania (the opposite extreme from depression) sleep very little. Perhaps your mood is higher than it was before?
