as you may or may not know, i am trying to gain some weight as i have that small frame and i'm always 15 or more pounds lighter than the other guys...however, i want to know all of your opinions on Breakfast. what truly makes a good one, how much should i be eating, should i be eating the same thing every single day...i have to eat breakfast at 6am exactly on all schooldays, but i have much more freedom every weekend.generally i eat a medium sized bowl of cereal with 2 or 3 different types of cereals, like some chex mix or crispix and a couple of the pure fiber cereals to top it off, then i add some raisins and granola and a fruit (generally half or a whole banana, or some otehr fruit like peaches or cranberries) and of course i then put the milk in.it's really tough to eat a whole cereal bowl at 6am but i do it and if i can't then i have a yogurt and/or a granola bar.i find that the fruit helps me last through the day a little longer and the fiber helps out with the sdigestion through the day :Pam i doing anything wrong? i'd like to get the most bang for my buck with breakfast...and i realize the importance of a good one too.also i'd like to know what other people eat as i honestly don't know. up until a few years ago i used to eat real sugary cereals everyday and i can honestly say that they just don't cut it.

oatmeal combined with some kind of protein would be a good breakfast, sexpot. However eggs are a very good part of breakfast. Most cereals are trash. Though most of them give you several vitamins and minerals they also are high in sugar & bad carbs. Not to mention there is practically no protein.
I recommend eating eggs for breakfast as much as possible. Eat one whole & three white. Mix them together & there's a perfect blend of good fats, protein, and lean carbs. If you're trying to gain weight bacon would also help that, but I prefer grilled ham. Here's an example of what some of my breakfast looks like:
Breakfast 1:
4 eggs (1 whole 3 white) scrambled
2 wheat toast w/ fat-free cheese melted on top
glass of skim milk
Breakfast 2:
bowl of oatmeal
can of tuna
a few wheat crackers
glass of skim milk
Breakfast 3:
Grilled Ham
Mixed Fruit
Scrambled Eggs
Big Glass of Water
Breakfast 4:
Glass of Skim Milk
Peanutt Butter & Wheat crackers. That's just some of the breakfast meals I eat. I generally dont cook, but if you're trying to gain weight- bacon, eggs, and biscuits cant be beat! What I'm basically trying to tell you is you want a meal that has some good protein as well as carbs. Most people only eat carbs for breakfast. Get you some protein & a big chunk of carbs. Then throughout the day balance your carbs & up the protein.
But yeah bro, if you have someone to cook you some bacon & eggs DONT TURN IT DOWN. I've had practically every meal you can think of & grandma's biscuit, bacon, & eggs were by far the best. You should never cut out eggs, period. Now if you're overweight bacon & biscuits might not be the best way to go.
