What does law say about 'kids' under 18 having sex

im not aware of any law...but if one of the partners is 18 (or 16 in some states) it becomes an issue of a legal person having sex with a minor...but assuming both are minors, and it isnt rape, im pretty sure there is nothing illegal about it...but parents may have issues ect...like if one of the partners gave to other a disease..and the giver wasnt aware they had the disease, it becomes a parental issue...and lawsuits can be filed...but no...if they are both minors, its not a rape, and there are no lawsuits filed for valid reasons, nothing can be done by law...

It's different in different countries, and in the US it's different in different states. Usually if both people are under 18 and they are close in age, it's either legal or the law usually turns a blind eye; but there are exceptions. If one is over 18 and the other under 18, in some states that's considered serious even if they are close in age.

I believe its acutally illegal to engage in sexual activity if your under the age of 18. But, its not enforced. Kind of hard to

I know that in new jersey where i live 16 is the age of consent so if your having sex b4 16 then the law can get involved. But that 16 year old can only have sex with another 16 yr old or a 17 yr old bc its rape if they are 18. and i 17 year old cant have sex with anyone over the age of 19 I believe or anyone of authority to them, like a store manager if they are an employee.
Basically these laws don't really mean anything because what happens in your bedroom is your own business. The only way the police would get involved is if they were giving notification of the act, and only would probably do something if they felt that someone (the younger person) was being pressured or weren't educated about the sexual facts.

In the UK, its 16 to have Sex, although i know many people that have done it before, the law cant stop them....its not possible to be able.

i cant quote statutes to you. but it is illegal for anyone udner 16 to have sexual relations. there was a proposition in Britain 2 years ago, i think (dates are always fuzzy with me) that wanted to have this included to any sexual contact including kissing. again, i cant quote statutes at you, but it is more than likely not defined and put under a blanket term like "Sexual congress" or "Sexual acts" and never actually defined. the law and sex hates each other. which is why that not many cases of under 16 year old sexual acts are dealt within the family if they ever get out and police are never involved, though its still a breaking of the law. anyone over 16 involved sexually with someone under is a very serious offence nowadays, what with the rise in public interest after so many public cases of it, of late. as of right now, the law has become very harsh on matters such as this should they be made aware of to the police. but again, some people prefer to deal with this stuff internally within the family. sex and the law has never gotten along.

in canada its 14.. kinda scary... thats my ex's sisters age.. most 14 year olds these days are like 4'7 and 95 lbs!

14 would be a more realistic age to have it at. another proposition put forward wanted to shift it down to 14 as well. it failed along with the ban on kissing one as well
