I wash my face everyday. But I notice my nose still gets oily. Do they have anything to fix this?? I tried alcohol but i was told it dries it out too much and causes your glands to work more and thus produce even more oil.I tried these nose pads my friend gave me and they worked for about 6 hrs or so but then my oily nose came right back!Is there anyway to stop this excessive oilyness?

My nose is oily!

I know this may not help, but I have the exact same problem. I have an acne problem on my nose, chin, chest, and shoulders. My nose especially gets really oily. My worst acne is on the shoulders and chest since it only gets cleaned when I have a shower, not when I wash my face.

I have the same problem bro. I never had a big problem with acne, but I always got pimples on my nose. Hell I havent had acne problems since high school, and yet I just had a nose pimple the other day. What I've found to work best is to buy that OXY Face Pads & clean your face (mainly nose) in the morning & then again at night. If you keep this up, you shoudlnt have much of a problem. I ran out the other day & havent had time to go & get some more. I payed for it...

There are lotions and many other face products for oil control you need to take a look into. I haven't used many, but I know proactiv has a lot of products for oily skin.

A lot of times there's nothing you can do about it. Some people have oily skin, others dry. It's just something you have to live with. I've had dry skin all my life on my face no matter how much moisturizer I put on.

ok buddy here's what you do. wash your face in the morning but not at night...so just once a day. use CETAPHIL buy this at a drugstore. it doesn't not strip off all oils from your skin. this makes it so that your skin doesn't overproduce oil. after this buy a MOISTURIZER that absorbs oil. ask your pharmacist. put this on after washing your face. then buy those little papers that absorb oil just in case you got some oil during the day. don't rub your nose. pat it dry. irritation of any kind will cause oil production. also cold weather will cause oil. hope this helps.
