I have a question, for you guys. I am a 21 year old black female dating a 40 year old white guy. When we're together everything is so nice, safe, fun, etc. We've been dating for about 6 months now and I really like him and he say that the feelings are the same. The one thing that I worry about is our age difference. Do people with this much of a gap in age say together or what. I love being around him, but afraid to get to attached to something that my just a moment in time. I'm not the typically 21 yr old, i don't party, drink, or any of those things i'm very content with going to school, work, and reading books (all my family say that i act like any old woman). I like my quiet little life. I guess my question is what do u guys think about relationship with this much of an age difference? And have anyone else had any experiences in this.

When I was 21 I was dating a 39 year old. Every situation is different. Ultimately it didn't work out...really you both are at two different points in your life. You're just starting out, while here's experienced many things you still haven't. However it could work for both of you.

My boyfriends mom is 42 and his dad is 62. They have been married for twenty years and are very much in love.

I am glad to hear that, i've talked to my older sister and she told me to just go for it and see where it goes, because you never really know what may become of a relationship if you don't put your all into it. So that's what i'm going to do, I just love being around him, listening to his voice, and everything else about him . Oh sorry got carried away! thanks for the advice.
