we just can't get along. There is only 2 of us in the house, and he gets cranky a lot.Today I offered to do the dinner and he then compained that I don't do it too much, and when I was setting up the dinner he complained again, using the "f" word in every sentence. I ended up throwing the sausages and beans on the ground and walking out. If he had not complained I would have done them without bother.I will be moving out of the house soon, couple of months after my sister moved out, so I am looking forward to that. He says my life will be very hard, and that will be his only consolation in life. He tries to paint the picture as black as possible before I move out, such as saying practically that everyone in life is horrible. But there are very nice people out there too.He is talking again outside my door. Anyway, I have a woman who is going to teach me how to cook and budget so I am looking forward to that. I really can't wait to get out into the world and socialize with other people and get my own Life going. I will be doing my leaving cert so if I get enough points I can go to college.About my dad again, if I mention something he throws it back in your face later on. I have a tuitor named Kevin, and I mentioned him to my dad once. My dad can't stop mentioning him when he gets cranky. Saying stuff like "why can't Kevin teach you how to cook". My dad is a pure hypocrite as well. He called my sister a whore and I quoted him over that today and he says he can't remember it, course he does. Also, when he argues with me he says I am the cause of his troubles and my sister is a angel, but when he argues with my sister he says it is all her fault and not mine!I just can't wait to get out an leave him, he is already threatning (sp?) to throw me out whenever, say it be in the middle of the night, and he went off the drink a while and is threatning me that he will go back on it again.Help!---------------
Me and my Dad are arguing again
My parents were nothing like as bad as my father, but I was so much happier when I was able to move out of home. I think you'll find the same. Your father's attempts to convince you otherwise show how insecure he is, and how much he knows that one you leave, you won't come back.
