I have been having problems with getting my period since December when I took my pills several days into the next pack skipping the placebos because my hubby was coming home from seeing his family and I wanted to 'welcome him back'. After that, I waited for my period a few days later and nothing. It totally SKIPPED and I FINALLY got it mid January, over a month later. In February, I had noperiod, and after about 6 prego tests in two weeks, and my own frustrations, I waited a few more days before taking my pills to see if it would come or not. It didn't so I missed it again. It is now March, and I am halfway through my pack, but am wondering if there isn't any way to induce my period and get my body acting and behaving normally again. I HATE going to the crotch dr because we are military and it's a pain in the ass to explain what I want or even get anything (Trust me, it's fere health care but it is NOT good.) Another reason is because of recent back pain, my appointment over two weeks ago Iw as told that I would be getting a call to schedule some tests. They FINALLY called today... turns out I don't have the appointment til mid April. Over a month and a half aw from my first appointment. Nice, right? So any ideas how to get my body working right? I Have take umpteen prego tests, and tried keeping things regular, and still no luck. I MISS my red friend, how can I get it back? I have also been feeling very depressed in the last three weeks and I think this might be a cause of it. Any help?

Inducing my period?

Whenever you mess with the pill and don't take it exactly the right way, it's bound to mess w/ your period. I went off the pill for about a week (took a week break in between packs) and ended up skipping my period completely for 2 months. You can't expect your body to kickstart right back to normal just because you're taking the pill regularly again - it's going to take time. My guess is, if you've been taking your pill regularly, you MIGHT get your period at the end of this pack, but since you keep messing with the time cycle for each pack, it could very well not come. You need to start taking each pack when you're supposed to... even if your period doesn't come, don't wait to start the next pack... start it when you finish the pack before it. It may take another month or so for your period to get back on track... There's nothing wrong w/ you - I think it's just because you haven't been taking the pill properly.

I agree and about the military docs. (me too, btw) DO NOT let them put you off. If you think there's a serious problem, keep bugging them and you should be able to ask to see someone off-base if they don't have openings. If they keep resisting, go to the Inspector General.
