In reply to: There isn't one! OK, mark your calendars, this is highly unusual.let me try to say this...I... agree....... with JoeThere, I said it There were bands from ages ago that were classed as "emocore" after the fact, as the term appeared.try HuskerDu and 7SecondsOther than that, skip the emo and take a shower

Emo = BSWhy would anyone in the world listen to anything like that ?
-
i have a wide range of music i listen to, and i was just asking for others faovrite emo bands. If you don't have any positive input than just don't replyAnd most people that don't like emo have never heard it or listened to the lyrics. By the way im not depressed or suicidal and i dont wear all black clothes, so you can throw out those misconceptions too.

Seriously, what is Emo?
-
Some emotional bs
-
hey, I was just refering you back to the classics of "pre-emo"others, 'emo' is short for emotional. The term EmoCore seemed to arise in the late 80s, early 90s refering to punk bands writing emotional songs (as opposed to hardcore or skatecore, etc)Now, it seems the punk part is mostly out and emocore is just called emo. I find it a bit winey at times but I tend to find the whole world a little too winey. That's just me

o well, i give up  thanks for those bands though.
