Ok so i've been reading this site alot and never really made a user name until now. But i've kinda got this problem going on and it's starting to piss me off. So one of my best friends just suddenly started getting girls. He used to be one of those kids that in middle school would never swear, never talk to girls, and was always quiet. He really used to be the "pussy" of the group. I guess my problem is jealousy here because he and this girl who also used to be my friend just drive around and give road dome. Hes always with her and it's never just the dudes that hang out anymore. He and i were exactly different in middle school, i was always the one who used to get the relationships and was always the one with girls. But now in highschool things are completely different. I really have a feeling its my height. In Middle school being 5'2 wasnt bad but now that im 5'2 as a 17 yr old highschool junior i guess girls dont go for my type. Im really skinny too and i really hate it. I've never been the suicidal type but have always been pretty pissed about my height.I guess i made this post to hear your ideas on this type of thing. Maybe something a short person could do to get girls. I mean i think i have a great attitude and i dont consider myself ugly at all. Also i need help on this jealousy issue, i cant look at this girl knowing shes been all over my friends dick cause it's just sick. The problem is hes always with her. I've never been the one to make good friends easily either. But seeing this dude completely change like everything about him in a matter of months is just weird. I dunno how this works.. i dont know how girls work and maybe i just need to live with it. Sorry for all the rant i just needed to vent i hope this will eventually work itself out but hell.. the way things have been going around here in general shows no sign of things getting better for me.
One of my best friends
s the usual 'guygets
thingy.Thats why I try to protect all my friends from girls :P j/k. You have 2 options : get along with the 2 or give an ultimatum to you friend : "woman or friends". Height doesn
t matter, although i never had a probl like this , I was always at the taller end of normal height. Its all about confidence in yourself
I have a short friend, too. I mean short; he's probably within the 30 shortest people at my school (3000 people). Every time I see him, he has a different girl's arms wrapped around him, so height doesn't matter. If your friend has suddenly become different within the past couple of months, then he's either trying to be someone he's not (and being very successful with it) or he's just finally showing his true side. If you have continually been trying to hang out with him, and he keeps turning you down, then you should really talk to him and if he doesn't listen, then he might not be the best friend for you.
Yea dude I see where your coming from with your friend and all but for me im always the "cute" but never laid worthy guy. And your right maybe this is my friends true side and i really dont like it..
It does sound to me like jealousy. It's a very human thing, and nearly all of us feel it when someone we thought was equal to us or lower does better than us. We beat ourselves up over why we are falling behind, why we can't do what that person did.We have to recognise that everyone is different, and their experiences are different. Let your friend be himself and let him go. Don't try to copy him; be yourself. Your time will come.
