I workout and weight train, but I only do it for health and just to look good but I don't work out to get huge and to be unable to move my arms anymore.

I'm new to these forums so, uhm, good day to everyone!I'm not really a proffessional bodybuilder but I am a martial artists so I do quite a bit of weight training [Bruce Lee fan].From now on, feel free to ask me if you need to ask anything about Martial arts or questions about how to train before sporting events. . :P -Taison out

I like to weight train but I seem to get lazy and not stick to any plans I make for it. I have gained alot of muscle through weight training but dont have the propper equiptment or enough money for a gym membership which sucks alot because I want to be stronger and also look better.

Where`d Powerlifter go ?
-
he now, be kind. I used to be a body builder, I am now more focused on swimming and toning up.
-
I do regular weight training, but I'm not a bodybuilder. I'm currently training for additional muscle mass, but not to the point a bodybuilder would go. I'm just into improving my overall strength and level of fitness. I love swimming, running, and just about every other sport you can mention.

I have been lifting for a couple months but i was always muscular before that, and i have looked at some young body builders around my age and i am more cut and bigger then most of them but i certainly dont consider my self a body builder, just an athlete
-
I workout atleast 3 times a week. 5 max. Ive been lifting for about a year and i was 128 when i started and i know weigh 173. gained too much fat though. Dont everyone start trashing me but i was really cut when i cycled steroids. I had to stop because i was caught with em. Pm me if you wanna know what that was about. But now i do my legs once a week then i do Chest one day arms one day and i always do abs atleast once a week (sometimes at home). All i take now is protein which i consume about 150 grams a day. Ive done all the supplements and i can tell you that most dont do shit. anyways just thought id let you know your not the only one who lifts
-
150grams of protein? That's a lot. Is that all red meat? I'd be careful. People have found there is a connection between consuming a lot of red meat and bowel cancer.
-
i research on it alot and i get it from 2 shakes a day which are 40 grams each shake. the rest from eating. From what ive learned a gram of protein per pound of your weight is about right. Overdoing it is bad for your liver though. Im gonna cut back on food and start doing cardio after my workout cuz currently ive lost my six pack and all i have now is a lil gut. im not fat at all just not tone anymore.
