I have just wasted valuable time I could have spent watching the grass grow. Of course it is said to grow whether observed or not, so one might suggest that I had NOT in fact wasted my time, unless I thought to meditate on the act of grass growing from a first had perspective, to try an gain fresh macrocosmic truths from a micorcosmic act. Of course, the same effect could be acheived by witnessing the growth of hair (prefereably the growth of a womans pubic hair at a very close distance)Um....vacuum WHICH of the four potential Shrodingers cats? The one that died, the one that lived, the one that is a persistant pattern of "catness" or the one that never existed...a Taoist thingy
-
The one that died, the one that livedThere was only ever one cat. It's a superposition of states that we're talking about (living/dead), not a superposition of cats. The key idea is the paradoxical ambiguity of the (one) cat's state.

well damn my soul. I had NO idea what that whole scenerio meant!!! THANKS for telling me. I had NO idea!!!!!Once, I was engaging in a thought with a friend, and told him lets imagine the universe is not unbounded. A guy came by, chock full of knoweldge, but no imagination, and said the universe is unbounded....well no shit sherlock. The astute reader will take note of the intended, heavy sarcasm that pretty much defines this post

you choose to waste, I offer the choices.don't blame the buffetI'm allergic to cats, no matter in which state, provence or county.
-
AngelWitch V the devil.............3 fights, i lost all 3.........thats it no more mrs nice angel throws halo out of window
-
you are right, I made the choice. And it was said in jest.As long as you aren't allergic to pussy. THAT would not be a kind thing
-
In reply to: And it was said in jest naturally, as was the replyFortunately, I'm not allergic to pussy, rather quite the opposite. I fear I have become dependant. the web and I differ in prioreties though

In reply to: throws halo out of window catches halo in a "ring-toss" fashionnice throw!

I am sure I will regret this, but let me try again.Yes, the intended key idea is the ambiguous state of the can (singular). However, during the two minutes, if memory serves, the state of the cat is unknown. So it could be said that both states exist. The cat is alive, the cat is dead. Two equally valid realities, so two cats. The persistant pattern of catness and the Taoist cat I threw in just for grins and giggles. I thought to generate, uh...thought, but only caught a knee jerk recitation of fact.I am confused. I am never sure if things are dormant, or dynamic. Is it permissable to view previously traveled ground for a fresh perspective, or is this verboten. I know history revisionists do this (see the latest theory that the defenders of the Alamo were actually trying to keep a buried hoard of gold safe, instead of actually sacrificing life for something so noble. Imagine that...to think that we would actually think some can think of others!!! Nahhh...Must be the gold). Yes, I do think it is entirely possible to review previously traversed ground to see what might still have escaped observation the first, second or third time. Streeeeeeeetches the mind. This paragraph is rhetoric, and not in need of a response. I already know the answer.there is absolutely NO sexual conotation with the halo and ring toss like catch.....nahhhhh!!! I always thoght halo was a greeting

You are so very, very clever. What do you mean 3 plus 3 doesn't equal 8? Son, you have no imagination. You can't stop a freight train by jumping in front of it? Use your imagination! So many words, yet so little to say....it's quite baffling.

honestly, some of V's statements give me flash-backs. That makes me understand

My loss. I never did acid.
