Ive tried shaving my pubes (above the penis) several times and each time after a day or two the skin becomes irritated and ichy/sore. Is this normal? I always cut the hair to about 1/4 of an inch then apply shaving cream and shave it like id shave my face. Am I doing somthing wrong? Is this normal? Can I do somthing to fix it? Thanks

Shaving

What your doing wrong is using shaving cream for one.aside from that tip, Im not gonna get into web cam me so I can critque your technique. All I know is I shave and I never have a problem since I started using this, product and I shave about every other day with no problems or irritation. If you take my advice, just dont follow its directions, use more then 3 to 5 drops ! and always put some more on after your done

Ok thanks, may I ask why you say shaving cream is the problem? Just curious.

I say that because I know that since I switched I havent had a problem.that shits a moisturizer ad the razor glides so much easier.my razors last longer too and as a bonus I get a minty tingle in my balls when Im done!

It depeneds on what your skin can handle, i use some gillete(sp?) shaving cream and the gillete mach 3 turbo, and i shave with little or no razor burn or iritation at all.
You know.... one thing i noticed is when people talk about heroin, they say the first time you do it its better then sex, and they never get that same feeling again, I noticed you can NEVER get that first-time-you-ever-shaved smoothness again after you start shaving :frowning:
I suggest you switch shaving creams, thats all the difference, you have to find what works well with your skin

ive Experience this aswell..so i justed stopped doin it. i think its because of the hairs are so course and firm and when u shave it down to the skin that if u do something they could possibly retract into the skin and then be stuck so it irritates the skin...anyways all the girls ive talked to say it looks wierd for it to be shaved trimmed is nice but not shaved. FYI

Razor rash can occur anywhere as a result of shaving. Might be from going over the area too many times, possbly from the skin just being sensitive, could result from sensitivity to the shave cream...Basically one should trim the long hair off, then apply a nice moisturizing shave cream for sensitive skin. And try to shave perpendicular to the hair growth (not opposite to it). Just go over the area once and then clean up. Whatever you miss today you can get during tomorrow's shave. In a few days you will be clean and smooth looking. Though if you have dark hair, there is always the 5 o'clock shadow to consider - hehe.BTW - never ever apply after shave. A good moisturizer never hurts though.
