I want to get in shape but I am so uninformed on everything! I want to lose a bit of weight, eat right, and build a bit of muscle. I'm 19 and weigh 140 lbs and am 5'7. I have little muscle in my arms but some in my chest and torso for sure. I have never worked out and I know my frame can support a larger muscle mass like the rest of my family.
I kinda have a little gut going right now so I wanna eat right while I work out too. I would like to have a six-pack someday (i know these things take a LOT of time), with decent definition in my arms and chest.
Do I lose my weight first?
Do I work my muscles first?
What sort of diet should I be on?
