well im 19 yrs old and in the summer (august) i was in an accident where i broke my femer bone and havnt been able to get hard enough for intercourse since then and i think im way to young to have this problem like my sex life has just started and i dont know what to do about this im to embarrased to go to my family doctor about it. would i be able to go into just any walkin clinic and get a prescription or how does this work? do they just ask me some questions and give the prescription or do they need to do tests n stuff anyways valentines day is coming up and i've been putting off sex with my gf as much as i can but i really want to show her a good time so i need some help with thisthanks .

It's really important that you get to your doctor about this. Try not to be embarrassed, it's what doctors are for. You need a prescription for Viagra or other anti-impotence drugs, and that means a doctor. If you don't trust your family doctor you could go to a men's health clinic if there's one locally.It will be important to get tests done. As you say, you're too young to have this problem from general ageing - something is wrong, and they will want to find out what it is.

Are you on any sort of pain medication or any other drugs? A lot of times things like that can interfere with sexual activity.I dont' know anything about broken femers, but if you're still on the healing stage, then you body is simply not concerned with erections but with healing. Seems like a very naiive idea though...
