hey, I don't know if this bugs anybody but it really gets me. See, I usually stay up till around 1 every summer night. I set my alarm for around 8 the next morning, and I "want" to get up but I never do. And when I get up at 12 I feel my entire day wasted and I feel miserable as if my whole summer is slipping away. Can you guys help? I might just need to go to bed earlier but I do all the fun stuff at night. Can you guys help?

Some people are morning people who wake up early and full of beans and get tired as the day gets late, and some are night owls who wake up tired and grumpy and get more awake in the evening. It partly depends on your own genes, but also on your age - teens are more likely to be night owls. You can try going to bed earlier, but you probably will always feel sluggish in the morning, just because it's your nature.

I recon, you need to jump out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off. If you snooze you lose. It usually takes me about an hour to become human. Also get up a bit later, but not as late as that. Normally i only get up early if i have to. So just enjoy being able to sleep in while you can.

I used to be like that.. now I try to make it a habit to go to bed by 11.. the next day i wake up at 7 and i feel great!

I'm a lot like you when it comes to my sleeping patterns. I am without a doubt a night owl. I like to stay up late but when it comes to waking up in the morning it's dreadful!But as you get older it gets easier, especially if you have a job that requires you to get up early. Once you start getting more responsibility it’ll force you to get out of bed and get ready for the day. Lord knows if it wasn’t for my job I’d be sleeping-in in the morning as well lol.

Getting up early sucks (at least for me), unless I wake up at the same time every day. Still, my brain is not firing on all cylinders in the morning.
