sex : male
background: My sexual partner and I have exchanged (a lot of) oral sex over the last week - he was sick (sore throat) and we found out later it was strep (which I now have in my throat). I'm of course treating it (with amoxicillin or w/e.) Question is, given the contact my penis made with his throat, is it possible to transfer streptococcus to the penis, and if so, would the amoxicillin automatically kill it there as well?
By the way I think my partner agrees, it's really not pleasant giving oral sex with strep.
Genital infection of streptococcus ?
I haven't heard of streptococcal bacteria colonising genitalia, and in any case the amoxicillin is all through your bloodstream and should attack it anywhere in your body.
