Ok, i'm not exactly sure if this is a serious problem or not. so I figured I'd get oppinions from here since you guys seem to give good advice.About 2 years ago, my left testicle started giving me trouble. At first it would simply rise up into my abdomen occasionally. This had me worried, but it would easily be pushed back into the scrotum.A few months after that started, it started aching a little. I figured it was just irritated by it occasionally rising into my abdomen. But that too was happening more often, sometimes several times a day. Then, about a year ago it started canstantly aching, and hurting. It became very sensitive and was uncomfortable to touch, and even my underwear would aggravate it. I also noticed what I call a "lump". Its on the front end of the testicle, and it is apparently the cause of the discomfort, since its the only sensitive part.I finally built up the courage to go the doctor about 5 or 6 months ago. Unfortunately for me, it was a female Dr. >.>Anyway, she examined me and said there was nothing wrong. She gave me antibiotics in case I had an infection. After 2 weeks I was scheduled to go back and i reported no change. She scheduled me to see a urologist. I went there and he examined me. He also said there was nothing wrong with it. He explained that it is very common for young men to experience this. He then said that Urologists call it the NUTCRACKER lol! He said it probably was because of blood veigns crossing at a 90 degree angle and causing a bloodflow disruption to the testicle. He said that its always the left testicle because of its positioning from the main blood veign. He gave me some medicine he said would help. He said that there is no cure for Nutcracker >.> and that the pain would return. It never actually stopped, and its still just as sensitive as ever. I'm just wondering what you guys think. I'm still worried, but the Dr. said I shouldn't be. Thoughts and oppinions?

Testicle problem. Nut cracker? lol

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VaricoceleCheck out the link. Is this what you have?

Thank you. that link was very helpful.Who would've guessed there actually was a disorder refered to as the nutcracker? Not I.I do still worry though. I sometimes have severe abdominal pains. I assumed they were from my accident a long time ago. That, plus the fact I was mis-diagnosed several times causing me to get Intestinal Gangrene. But that article has me wondering if my veigns aren't also malfunctioning in my abdomen too.

And to answer your question. Yes, that seems to describe what i have.

OK.. Well I have a varicocele too. A varicocele can only be treated through surgery and probably only if it's a bad case. I don't know how bad yours is. It's a nuisance, I know. One thing to be aware of is that it can affect your fertility. You're young so you have to be aware. I've had my kids already so I don't care anymore. Perhaps a second opinion is in order?

From what you say about the testicle re-ascending before, I wonder if there's a scrotal hernia as well as the variocele.

The 1st Dr. said she checked for a hernia. She said I didn't have one.It does dissapear while masturbating. I don't do it on my back very often, if ever. I usually stand, and it still pulls up inside.
