I find it hard to believe my friend because the stupidity in what she is saying is driving me insane. I just find it impossible to be that... oblivious to the world. She talked to me today about her sister and whatnot who had a baby a couple months ago and it's a boy and he's a cutie. But today she asked me to pray for her family and such becuase of hard times but she told me that her nephew is bleeding at the mouth after she (get ready for this) stepped on him. How do you step on a baby?? Either her room was really messy or she's just plain blind. I still don't get how that's possible. I'd think from the moment you felt the bone instinct would tell you to get off?
-
Stupidity beyond reason
-
it better be! lol she's not the type of person to abuse any child or living creature so that's really unusual for her
-
holy shit!!!call 911 BEFORE praying!please tell be the baby has been to the hospital
-
that's insane, holy crap.how the heck can you 'accidentally' step on your nephew? that sounds like a load of crap.
-
I can think of many other possibilities other than child abuse. Sometimes accidents happen.
-
Yup. Sometimes you just step on your baby and he bleeds from the mouth.
-
Totally agree with you Steve. Accidents happen, like the baby rolls over for the first time and biffs it, or starts walking and bashes his head on furniture while learning. But stepping on an INFANT? How the HELL do you do that unless your really messed up! I have tripped over my kids many times, but that was once they were mobile...GRRR people!
-
ok why is it everyones automatically jumping to child abuse? of course its possible but its not impossible that she couldve tripped and the baby was unfortunate enough to be there
-
well right now, my boyfriends mothers friend lost her grandchild. and funny thing is, he died the day that she was going to retire from the hospital.he was going to be 1 on the 7th of this month. he was dropped off at the babysitters, and the guy claimed that the babys head fell onto his shoulders so hard that he had his shoulder dislocated. well the baby had to be rushed to the hospital because he kept having seizures...he never made it through the night. he died of shaking baby syndrome. there doing an investigation on it right now. theres NO fucking way that a baby's head can be dropped so hard onto someones shoulder to dislocate it. fucking bullshit.
-
Stepping on a baby is not necessarily direct abuse. But it is some form of neglect, which, is a form of child abuse.
-
as soon as I saw the words "her nephew is bleeding at the mouth" my heart jumped into my throat!
I can't even imagine how that could be a minor thing for a baby that had been STEPPED ON... or should I stat STOMPED.
something is really fucked up there

It's possible that someone could have a bullet in his chest, and you could be standing next to him with a smoking gun in your hand, and you didn't have anything to do with the person's wound. But it does raise some serious questions that warrant investigation. -
yes i know, but it seemed as if everyone (with the exception of JoeBloggs) didnt even begin to think of other possibilities other than child abuse, Japanfan14 said its not in her friends usual ways to harm anything willingly yet people still jumped to child abuse
-
I'm sorry. You just don't accidentally step on a baby. And if you do, then why would you have a baby anywhere near your feet??? And bleeding from the mouth? She had to step on the baby pretty hard for it to bleed from the mouth.
-
well her nephew was put in intensive care but he's recovering. slowly but still improvment. thing is he didn't cry so I figure he was sleeping?
-
So what really happened?
-
Is Social Services involved?
-
lol no social services is not involved. Her mom um... already fixed that situation to say the leastHer sis (the mother) told me that the doctor said when she stepped on him nothing was too badly injured internally, fortunately she didn't step too hard, didn't break anything. But they didn't clarify on why he was bleeding at the mouth
-
something sounds way to fishy to me! Under the circumstances, the doctor whould have called social services. My friends daughter got into some tylenol out of her grandma's purse. The hospital immediatly called Family and Childres Services.
