Sometimes, at randomly, my penis shaft in the middle will tend to get much skinnier in the middle. In such, that it will be like8==--==D .This happens on both sides of the middle shaft and the middle shaft in a way shrinks into the middle. I have searched hundreds of sites, and forums, with no luck at all. When I am semi hard, it will do this also. However, when i am hard, my penis does not do this. Is there a name for this problem? does anyone else experience this? Should I be worried? I know i've asked a lot of question, but then again, this is my man hood! Please share opinions, for I do not know what I should do.Like I said, it does this not all the time, but sometimes much more often then others.

Hmm, haven't heard of such a thing before, but it might just be what yours is like and all okay. Has it always been like that?If it really concerns you, it might be a good idea to ask a professional. Better safe than sorry, really

I don't know of any technical name for this, but it used to happen to me. I wondered about it too, and I was relieved when once in a changing room I saw someone else with the same effect. As you point out, it disappears when you get fully hard. My impression was that it was more likely when the penis is cold.It doesn't seem to have any bad effect. I haven't observed it now for a long time, so it seems to be an effect of youth.Obviously someone should do a study on this phenomenon.

It has to do with the structure of the individual penis. Some are long while soft and others get small and enlarge from "inside " the body. In a penis that is long while soft the blood just fills it up from the ends and sometimes it is thin in the middle while the erection is developing. With a penis that elongates "out of the body", the blood pushes everything out and it gets erect from the base out.

I don't find that explanation convincing, because (a) the phenomenon happens when soft, as well as semi; and (b) I am not at all long soft.

Glad to hear that im not the only one. It typically does seem like it only happens when I am cold, but other times, I don't "feel" cold and it does it. It has happened for about 4 years, since i was about 17, but hopefully in time, it will correct itself. Any other opinions, suggestions, or comments would be great.
