Vicesectomy (sorry about spelling)

From taking the p[ill to walking aout took about an hour. after the shots it took maybe 15 minutes and 3 stitches. Itt was one of the milder experiences Iv ever had for surgery and much less painful than any broken bones or stitches Iv ever had in my past.being awake freaked me out a bit, but it really wasnt as bad as I thought it would be.Make the appointment, Im betting they will tell you its required to have the consultation, mine was free, after my insurance my nut cutting cost me ten bucks plus gas. make sure yuo ask any questions you can dream up at that consultation, they will go over everythig yuo want to know and if you say yes set the appointment that day for the actual surgery. I had my consultation and my surgery the same week, I put off surgery till friday so I had a weekend to lay about being a demanding shit. It all sounds bad but honestly, its far from the top of my list of traumatic experiences. If your sure you want to have no more kids, I highly reccomend having it done.I had 2 she had 4, we were posative we were finished.

hi i had it done was awake wish i never had it done. tried to have it changed back but never worked. . not ment mess a round with your bodies.

my manthing went for one a few years ago when he was 27, he drove himself there, the procedure took about 20 mins all in all, he was awake, but numbed down there, and he drove himself back.......it left him with an ache, and wear tight fitting underwear helps to lessen the ache as they don't dangle and pull he was a bit black and achey for the weekend (while i was away at the Hilton HAHA) but that was that.......he had to send in 2 sperm samples a month after and two months after the procedure and then got the all clear.......its not that big a deal at all, and saves me being on the pill any more or using condoms etc.........he has never regretted having it done at all, even tho he only has one biological child and hes still only 32

They must have done a bad job to begin with because with todays technology they can reverse anything.. Have you tried someone else. Have you seen another doctor? I would if you really wanted to have it reverses.
-
You get a vasectomy if your certain that you don't want to make babies. The way the procedure is done nowadays, it's usually reversible, but not always.
But there may be some long-term effects of vasectomy, according to recent research.
-
Also, the cost of reversal and the risks associated with it are much higher. I believe the cost was placed at about $20,000; I'll see if I can find a source for that.

Had mine thirty years ago and never regretted it. However I had it done at the hospital in a "real OR". My doc explained that he had had a guy the same age as me six months before and in good health go into shock and his heart stopped while he was on the table. They revived him and was OK later. Not the sort of thing you want happening at the doctor's office sitting in a barber chair. I got there a 8:00, left at 11:00. Went home and took a nap to sleep of the valium and then jumped on my motorcycle and went for a 75 mile ride. Never had any pain or discomfort. I sure I am unique and lucky. There are surely some horror stories out there.

most importantly, this procedure should be considered permanent; although it may be reversible, the mindset should be no kids anymore. if that is not the case then other methods of birth control will do fine.
