You don't have to do any of that if you don't want to. I'm currently studying at University, and my major assignment this semester was to weigh and measure myself (everything from height, weight, to bodyfat %), and log everything I did and ate for 24hours. Then write up a report my energy intake vs. my energy expenditure, any vitamins or minerals I'm deficient in, and how I could improve my diet.Was pretty interesting, but very time consuming.

Are you studying Kinesiology? Or are you doing the general health course? That does seem interesting though. In physics, when studying Energy, we have to measure our muscles and body mass etc. and study the chemical potential energy going in our body. We used the energy = input and output formula

Course I'm doing is technically called a Bachelor of Applied Science (Food Technology & Nutrition), but I'm majoring in the nutrition side of the course, and the subject with that as the major assignment was Nutrition Principles. Later in the course we further in depth into almost all aspects of nutrition, and I think there is a subject on kinesiology. At least the name looks familiar.Edit: I should note that the whole reason I transfered into nutrition is mainly because of Helm's help and advice early on. There's a lot more to it than that, but he intially pointed me in that direction, and since then I'm been obsessed. So thank you Helm's, and here's proof that the work you guys do on these forums actually do make a difference in people's lives.

I'm 5'5", 200 pounds, muscular, and my diet is high in oils, fats and sugars. It's always been like this for me and always will, I have no control (or desire to control) what goes into my body. I'm from South America, if that explains anything. I prefer half and half or evaporated milk over regular milk. I prefer 3 spoons of sugar in my shot of coffee. I prefer grease over water, and usually (always) eat those foods that they say to stay away from (very rich foods like duck or bacon or bacon on duck). Why do people still ask me everyday if I workout? I CAN workout, but do I? Hell NAH. Did I mention beer? Plenty of beer every week.
