Ok I am the co-owner of a graphic website and one of our partners was my best friend his name was Marcus and all of a sudden out of the blue a suicide letter was posted on his website which is http://www.snowneo.com but alot of people are not believing it because if you search before suicide letter on google or any where the same letter comes up.My friend Steff thinks some one hacked into the website . What do you think?
-
Suicide Letter?
-
You mean this letter? http://www.spsfv.org/letter.htmEdit: It's also very obvious that whoever put that letter on your friend's website simply did a Find & Replace "he" with "she" which is why words like wshen and tshere came about.

ok thank you we are just confused because now body has been able to get in touch with him in about a month we still think the sight might have got hacked into by a thinkg called google hacking which mean google gives hackers sites that are easier to hack into but i serisouly am still confused
-
I dunno what happened to your friend, but that is not his suicide note if that's what you're worried about. I already proved that to yuo.

Good detective work, StillSearching!Adamlevineluver, hacking is one possibility. It's also worth considering that sometimes on the Net people fake suicide (or a fatal accident) as a means of escape - sometimes from a fake persona.

When I try to go to the forums, FIrefox tells me this:The page isn't redirecting properlyFirefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. * This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

it is still reason to be concerned
-
I wouldn't be concerned. Agreed. I'm leaning towards what Pete said, and this guy is possibly trying to stop his identity on the internet for whatever reason. It's actually quite common that people live double lives; one for real life and one for their internet life. People here can tell you about that.

what forum? but i am positive and so is my friend steff that he would have told us that he had to give up his site there is a process if you have to give up your site all your partners and affilates help you find a new owner
-
but i am positive and so is my friend steff that he would have told us that he had to give up his siteIf he was trying to rid himself of his internet identity then no, he wouldn't have to tell anyone. Otherwise he wouldn't really be getting rid of his internet identity. Now, not saying that's what's going on, but that's what it looks like to me at least.Don't you haev his e-mail? Or a phone number or something?
-
yea we have his email i emailed him millions of times i even myspaced him so i really dont know
-
Doesn't it say on Myspace when he last signed in or something?
-
The notion that I had removed myself from my secondary life was true. There had been a lot of personal and deep things that I needed to escape. Having found this post certainly made me realize how truly amazing friends I had. The joys we have had together the laughter will always be cherished.
With all my love,
Marcus Arseneault -
@snowneo How very good to hear a follow-up, so many years later!
