I only seem to smoke when I'm drunk, does being drunk curve the effects of addiction?

Smoking while drunk

curve?? You mean "curb" as in reduce the effects? No, I doubt that. You just don't smoke enough to be hooked.

My boyfriend smokes a pack a day. When he drinks he smokes even more. I don't know why that happens.

Loads of people only smoke when they drink.

I remember the first time i smoked, i was off my face and had about 10 cigarettes in the space of about 2 hours. I don't go so mad now, but for some reason it just feels right to have a fag in one hand and a drink in the other! It only happens when i'm outside at a house party or something though, i think it's just one of those random joys of being drunk!

I smoke a LOT more when I'm drunk. I've went through two packs in one night before and wondering where the fuck my cigs went.

I would think that you can get just as addicted drunk as you can sober, its just that addiction, at least to nicotine, takes more than one drunken night of puffin'.Ever run out of cigarettes? Just go to a party and ask everyone there if they'll hook a brother up. Play your cards right and you can walk away with a dozen or so for free.

I used to only have a few when I was drinking but 3 nights in Berlin and I went through over 8 packs. Heavy drinking is the DEVIL for people who want to control their smoking.
This isn't really advice to anyone (since we don't give advice about drugs here) but just something I noticed, when smoking cannabis, smoking cigarettes suddenly feels like you're trying to smoke through wet tissue paper. It completely turns me off normal cigarettes, whether drunk or sober.

It seems to me that smoking a cigarette after smoking the evil herb increases my buzz a little bit
