Dantek,
I didn't really mean to respond directly to you on my first post above--- if was 4 everybody. Sorry.
Do you find BLACK WOMEN sexy or attractive?
Dantek,
I didn't really mean to respond directly to you on my first post above--- if was 4 everybody. Sorry.
Well, I am a black teenager and I have dated alot of guys and some were white. So ya, I think it more depends on characteristics than color/race. Even my cousin got married to a white guy so yeah, I don't think it matters on the race, just what you like about the person.
oh dont worry about it, i only call people on it if its an insult
I definatly agree with you in that there is a 'perfect white female' profile; the regulation - fair hair - fair skin, - blue eyes combo. That's my genetic make up, as an Irishwoman (indiginous Irish are all caucasians) it's in no way unusual over here. A lot of Irish females tick those boxes, but I found that when I dyed my naturally fair hair black, (years ago) people, expecially men, started relating to me differently. If a crowd of women walk into a bar it is the bleached-blonde haired woman who'll get all the attention, (which is fine by me, they're welcome to it, I've kept my hair black ever since) but it's an interesting phenomonen to watch. Is it imbued in the male psyche that blonde hair equates to sexuality I wonder? This seems to be the case from what I can see. We've had a lot of inward migration here in the last 15 years and another interesting point is that the black foreign men here seem to prize this 'ideal of beauty' far more aggresively than the indiginous Irish men. I couldnt count the times I've seen black men single out the blonde woman in a group for approach in bars, clubs, even the middle of the street! I wonder what that's about?
fair skinThere are so many women on the beach, roasting themselves to a darker color. Tanning booths are also a big business. It's different here.
I dont think its a big deal. My bf is a little black or something. he never really says, he just makes stuff up. like sometimes he will say his mexican, eithopian, or just whatever country pops into his head. I never really thougth about him being different. But i think if i was really into other girls i would be into white girls, i dont really know why. no offence to anyone. I dont really have to worry about that anyway.
There are plenty of women here who like to tan too, they generally use tanning booths though, as they're well aware they'd be more likely to freeze their arses off on our beaches, ha ha.I think though (and this has just occured to me) that the behaviour of the African men here (they're mainly Nigerian) in always seeming to go for blondes may be as simple a thing as novelty value, as I suppose blue-eyed blondes would be a rarity in their home country.Personally I dont think either black or white women compare to Asian women in terms of physical beauty, I think Asian women are far and away the most beautiful women in the world; I just love that olive skin, slanted eyes and long silky dark hair. I always think it's such a shame when I see an Asian woman who has lightened her hair because the bleach necessary for that strips the hair of all it's natural lustre and it loses its silky quality. They have lovely petite figures as well. Pity I couldnt have been Asian myself..
well what race r u then??
White...all over!
You would love the girl I'm dating right now then. My first asian.
No. I like asians though
Give her one from me! (oh thats very dirty, I'm sorry!)
Some have said: In the old days, when people did a lot of manual labor outdoors, a light skin indicated higher economic class; nowadays, a tan skin indicates time for leisure, and thus, wealth and higher class.
What your skin color "should" be is one of those very cultural things.
Are white women really able to tan their skin as dark as yours? They must be burning the shit out of themselves! Of course I've met many white women who like to tan, but tanning to that degree is really dangerous for caucasian skin. Not to mention the fact that we're more likely to suffer fron sun-induced wrinkles. Which, by the way, is because you black women have skin that's more resilient to the elements - I have to protest, it's just not fair!
well ive never seen a white woman with skin like hers but pretty damn dark and disgusting, all leathery and deep deep tan color lol
I'd imagine so! You said earlier in the thread that you were going out with a white bloke; I'm just curious, have you ever encountered any racial prejudice from black friends/relations because of forming relationships with white men?
That's good. There've been big changes where I'm from in recent years as I said earlier, we've had a lot of inward migration. Neither of my brothers is involved in a relationship right now, but if either of them brings a foreign girl home all I care about is that she's a nice person and makes him happy. What I find pretty hard to understand is that some people are so prejudiced they'd rather see a loved one with total bastard of the same race who made them miserable than somebody of a different race who was a good person and made them happy.
I think the same way about gay relationships, why should people be unhappy with someone they 'should' be with, instead of being with the person they love, no matter what gender or race they are.
I agree with you there. I think that love is, and should be considered to be, unconditional. I think that that is the true nature of love; that it transcends all societys illogically imposed boundaries, like race, religion and gender. What a pity so many people are ignorant on that point. My sons godmother has been involved in a lesbian relationship that has remained strong for the last sixteen years, while several lovers of mine have come and gone.. They're also raising too young kids together and doing a damn good job of it.
That should have been 'two' young kids, whats wrong with me..
