hey i have been told ..well not by a docter but by tellin people on here about my problem.. well anyways here is what i feel.. My left testicle hurts and it isnt my ball its my viens that attach to it, there all lumpy and feel like a worm like thing but there not rock hard there firmish. It doesnt hurt everyday, today it didnt hurt until right now. Cause i was playin soccer a bit ago. Anyways they hurt on and off sometimes so bad it hurts to walk. Thing is my mum wants my dad to cheak it out first before i go to the docter..first i dont think my dad cares enough for my health he cares about his money more..hence why they dont want me goin to the docters. He doesnt even know the difference from his cock and his index finger. I dont see why i have to show my dad my stuff when he knows nuffin. When i know i have a problem and rather have a docter cheak it out. anyhoo end rant.these vien things cause birth problems if left for a long time? like sometimes so bad u wont be able to have kids?:( i hope not. Are they a long term problem? is there anything i can do to help it go away..or shall i just get my sister to sneak me to the docs? i have no health insurance being from england living in america. So it will cost alot..but id rather have it sorted. HAs any1 ever had 1 of these before im pretty worried about it.

Varicocele vien

Varioceles usually occur on the left side as it is with you. If it is really bad it can cause atrophy of the testicle. Hence you could have lower sperm production. BUT... you have a second testicle which is usually OK and is more than adequate for fertility. The bad part about it is the aches and pains and the general droopiness of the left testicular sac due to the extra weight of the bloated veins. The only solution is surgery. There is nothing you can do to help it. It's not an emergency and can usually wait unless it's really bad. If it aches, make sure you use supporting garments (i.e. jock strap) if running or in sports. GL

Having had a varicocele and the surgery to correct it, I agree with sdp. Unless its really, really bothering you, or if you notice your left testicle shrinking in size noticeably, you can wait until your old enough to go to your own doctor. If your sperm count drops from the varicocele, the good news is once the surgery eliminates the varicocele, the sperm counts usually come right back up. So, I wouldn't worry to much about this.

i have the same problem. I have had it since i was a freshman in highschool. Now i am 19 and playing soccer as well. I get those same exact pains, and it is a pain when in a game. I have been thinking about revisiting the doctor to check up..... Also, can this problem cause PE?

In reply to:Also, can this problem cause PE? No, varicoceles can't cause premature ejaculation.
