I've spent the past couple of days at my state's Marriage and Family Therapy conference where the subject was sexuality. Believe it or not, I actually heard something I don't quite understand. One of the presenters was telling about a client who was concerned because her husband only wanted sex every 6 weeks or so. Of course she was concerned. Was she not attractive? Was he having an affair? As it turned out, the husband confided to the counselor that his wife didn't lubricate naturally and everytime he had sex he would "tear" and it took four or five days to heal. So, of course, he wasn't in a rush to have sex again.
Have any of you heard of this? Or experienced this? How does a penis tear? Does he mean like abrasions? Is this something that happens to men who aren't circumcises? I asked a couple of buddies, one of whom was at the conference, and they didn't get it either.
(By the way, the therapist helped them solve the problem temporarily simply by using lubrication!)
