This is very embarrasing for me, I am 40 years old, and I need help...I recently became very sexually active, my vaganal lips are beging to "hang" is this normal? with my age and all is there anything that will help "shrink" them?
Im not sure if i know much about anything but I would assume at the age of 40 this should be perfectly normal. I doubt you can fix it unless you want to spend money on surgery or something.
I wouldn't worry about it. Though I never thought of it as an aging thing...I just thought labia were different sizes for different women. Not like there is much to do though, I guess its like boobs, they start to sag and there isn't much outside of surgery that will perk them back up...

It's probably just a bit of stretch. It's not a problem, some women start off with larger labia. We're all different but you're certainly not unique in that department - look around here, there are many women with large labia, and most men love them.
I'm uncut, and my foreskin stretched considerably after I became active, and it now hangs over more than what it did years ago!
It sounds very sexy to me. If you ever want to be worshipped.... i'm your man.
grade A loser right above me ^
Your inner lips or your outer lips? Your inner lips can be long and stretch due to sexual activity. Your outter lips could be because of the age issue. You may not be as tight as you used to be.
Queston 2: Why did you all the sudden become sexually active? It's sounds like this is a new thing...
To be wholly accurate, the vaginal lips should be called ‘vulval lips’. The outer lips are usually fleshy, and the inner lips are usually thin but, like every other part of the body, they come in all shapes and sizes. In some women, the inner lips are completely enclosed by the outer lips. In other women, the inner lips (labia minora) are larger than the outside lips. This is perfectly natural and normal, but many women worry about it. It is a shame that pictures in men’s top shelf magazines and articles in womens’ magazines are making women feel abnormal when they are not. But, if the inner lips are so large that they are upsetting you, it is possible to have them trimmed by a surgical operation.
The operation to reduce the labia minora is simple. It can be done by a gynaecologist or a plastic surgeon. There are two ways of doing it.
The surgeon may simply trim the edges of the labia, in which case you may be left with a scar running along the edges of the labia.
The other method is to remove a fan-shaped portion of each lip, and then stitch the cut edges together. This reduces the size of the lip without much scarring.
This is a cosmetic operation, so you would probably not be able to have your insurance pay for this surgery. You would have to have it done privately. Try to pluck up courage to ask your doctor to refer you to a suitable private gynaecologist or surgeon. Explain how troubled you are feeling. This is a better course of action than trying to find a good one yourself, which can be difficult.
