for a couple of months now I've been going on and off with bouts of diareha and they have progressivly gotten worse. sometimes I'll have a regular bm, but mostly it's pretty much like water with some greasy. it is quiet greenish and yellowish in color and when I have checked it out, sometimes it looks like there is mucus in it too. I was reading on the site earlier and now I am honest scared that it might have something to do with my liver or stomach. I am a daily drinker, mind you not heavy but I do have a couple of beers every day. I just got done with supper about 3 hours ago and my stomach still hurts. I can honestly say that I am scared now, I have to wait untill my insurance comes through before I can go to the doc so I was hoping for some feedback. Another thing is is that I drink a lot, and I mean a lot of water through out the day.
Possibly irritable bowel syndrome? You certainly need to see a doctor about it.
That is one thing I certainly haven't ruled out yet. it's very well possible, I'm under a lot of stress and I suppose that drinking doesn't help the matter any. Thanks for your feedback
If your not a heavy drinker, then I dont think you need to worry about the problem being the drinking. But what do i know?

Then why do you keep posting to medical question threads?
If it's been going on for a while, it could be irritable bowel syndrome, or it could be one of the inflammatory bowel syndromes (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, etc.) Anyone who's had diarrhea for two months definitely needs an appointment with a gastroenterologist.
