a little over 2 months ago i went on spring break and a girl gave me oral sex for only like 15 seconds before i got uncomfortable and made her stop. it is now over two months after that happened and i just noticed a weird red sore on the bottom of the head of my penis. before and after this happened i asked the girl if she had any STD's and she assured me she only has messed around with one guy before and they had been dating for over two years and neither of them had any STD's. i don't know if this is herpes, but i'm getting pretty scared. i looked online for some information about STD's and all i found was that signs of herpes appear about 3-4 weeks after sex (or oral sex), but it has been over 2 months. also, i usually shave down south, and i haven't shaved for over a week, and i don't know if this is a result of not shaving. if anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

Do i have a STD?

Well, shaving won't affect the head of your penis one way or another, so that's definitely not it. It is possible it is an STD since you had oral sex. See if you can find any photos of what herpies bumps look like on the Internet, and compare it to your bump. I would keep an eye on it for now - if it doesn't go away or at least get better in a week, then I would definitely have it checked by a doctor.

alright well i woke up this morning and it appears that the bump is almost gone. i think i only had it for a few hours yesterday, and now it's just a really small scab. i am really confused because i found that the signs of herpes appear 2 to 20 days after being exposed. it is now 60 to 70 days after it happened and i got just one small bump. the reason i thought it could be from shaving is because i hadn't shaved in about a week, and my hair was getting stubbly, especially on my scrotum, and i didn't know if maybe the underside of my penis was rubbing against the hair. i have been closely monitoring that region since spring break to see if anything was different (looking for ANY signs of an STD), and in the past two months i haven't noticed anything, so once again i'm kinda confused. if anyone knows any more information (like how long a herpes bump lasts, so i can compare it to what i have) please let me know. thanks!

I'm not a doctor, but I play one online.while i'm not sure about this, i don't think you can get an STD from 15 seconds of oral. I don't know of any STDs that are carried through saliva. So I wouldn't worry about her giving you anything. Either way get it checked out. Sure it's embrassing to tell the dr. whats wrong but it's better than your thing falling off.seriously though, don't worry. For all you know it can just be a pimple or something. Maybe you sat around in a wet bathing suit and it's "diaper rash." Keep clean and go to the Dr.
