anticipation is usually worse than the real thing. Glad to have helped.

How many times a day do you urinate?
-
Nah, it's not like normal diabetes. And honestly, I've been doing a little reading, and I'm starting to think that I've worried myself about nothing. I can't imagine that no one would have noticed any symptoms of this disease when I was younger. I'm going to still get checked out, but I'm feeling much better. I think I just need to get my urination under control and to get this silly fear out on the table (or on some random webforum- lol)

It's been a while since someone posted here, but I have Diabetes Type I (Diabetes mellitus). I'm not familiar with the type you're talking about or is that a fancy name for Type II?My symptoms when I got diabetes were also always being thirsty and urinating a lot, but that was the extreme case, as in drinking a can of soda then literally 2 minutes later wanting to drink another soda. My blood sugar was around 1200 when I got to the hospital (normal is around 100).

So far this morning (in about 4 hrs) I have had 5 cups of water - and have gone to the bathroom 13 times. Does this seem right for the amount of water I've consumed?
-
Er, no. Unless they were monster-size cups, it seems like something is wrong to me.

Okay, I think I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum. I'm never thristy. I'll MAYBE have 24 ounces of water a day, in addition to 1 cup of coffee and a glass of wine with dinner. On a good day, I pee like, 4 times. Even worse - I hate sodas and juice is too acidic. So I feel like I'm really stuck with water...which tastes flat to me. My pee is always very yellow, and I'm wondering if it's time I talk to a doctor. What do ya'll think?

The more water you drink the more clear your urine will be and youshe be drinking at least 64oz a day! Persomally i drink anywhere from 8 to 12 24oz bottles of water a day, especially durring training periods. I probably urinate 10 times a day

I'm not use to drinking very much water during the day. But I recently found out that I need to be drinking at least 8 cups of water a day. While driking only about 2 or 3 cups, I urinated only a few times a day, about 2 or 3. I'm never really thirsty. But when I do start drinking more water, I find that I am urinating a lot for every glass of water, and constantly--about every hour and a half. This is normal, right?

yeah, it's normal
