ok so i have bean doing sit ups and i am on a pretty good diet anyone know any ways to work your lower abs without using any wieghts

you can tone your abs by doing crunches, but you can not build solid muscle mass w/o using weights. I think its time to get a gym membership....

i lie on my back and put both my legs together, then lift them up at the same time whilst laying down. Lift then up to about 45 degrees and do about 10 every couple of days. This should tone your stomach abit more, i saw results in a few weeks but i've not done them for a while.

i heard doing crunches is better then sit ups? sit ups do nothing? is that true..?

It's actually far harder to do good crunches than full sit ups, and this is because you're keeping your body in position that causes your abs to support you. Sitting up relaxes them (as compared to only doing a crunch) and can be a strain on your back to do repeatedly.

Sit ups are much harder than crunches, what are you smoking?

I can do hundreds of full sit ups and be fine, but for slow and steady crunches, it's a workout doing multiple sets of 50, especially if you try to keep your shoulder blades from touching the floor between crunches.

I had a full 8-pack before i started bulking but abs arent about how strong your ab muscles are really its how low your bodyfat is. Worry more about what you eat than rather how many crunches you can do. Also i do atleast 6 diff ab workouts in the gym when i go. Weighted crunches, bicycle kick, heel to toe crunches, hanging leg lift, ball crunches, and reverse crunches. you can do situps till your blue in the face but it wont mean shit. In short keep your bf % low and switch up exercises. if i knew how id post a pic of mah abs to show u

One way to work your lower abs is to put your legs together and stick them straight up in the air and try to touch your toes.

yeh i tried it to. man its good. hope i a) get results soon and that B) its not damaging to your body. i find it more difficult to keep my neck completely off the ground whilst doing all 12 "bikes" for about 3 times. wat bout anyone else?

My lower ribs are aching a bit off doing them last night. You say 12? is that just 12 right elbow on left knee :S ? Because i done a hundred last night and i'l probably do hundred again if my ribs are ok.
