I was on the waiting list for a circumcision in December 2004. And I receieved a phonecall in about September 2005 for my operation, however I had to cancel because I didn't have anyone to drive me home afterwards. I haven't heard ANYTHING since. I just presumed I was still on the waiting list and I would hear again soon...but more than likely I have been removed from the waiting list altogether FFS. Is there any way I can find out? The trouble with phoning people is that they always ask what the type of operation it was...and I don't really like to say because it makes me look stupid. I am 25 now and it needs to be done soon otherwise my life will be over.

Circumcision on UK NHS

You can either call and see if you were removed from the list or just make another appointment. No need to be afraid to say what kind of operation it was. I'm sure they've heard more bizarre operations May I ask why you think your life will be over if you aren't circumcised?

I know circumcisions arn't that common in the UK but they still happen and its nothing to be embarrassed about, as for ringing up why not ring your GP's surgery they should have it on record if you are on the list or not...........

My Phimosis is so bad that sex is not possible. I would rip myself to shreds. And besides, it will probably take upwards of a year before I can get an operation. waiting lists in the UK are so long.
