A scary dream i had ... i woke u in tears

Often scary dreams show us our fears. Mine often involve something horrible happening because I did something stupid.
The worst thing about scary dreams is that they are the most convincingly realistic. :frowning:

thanks 4 ur input HUGS N CUDDLES::what did u do that was stupid ?
-
my dreams - they usually tend to come true if i remember them- no that isn't good - i hope this dream doesn't come true
-
Thanks for the hugs and cuddles, AandC4evr. They vary, the stupid things I do in my dreams. The common chracteristic is that I didn't think enough, I was thoughtless. For example, driving dangerously and in consequence falling off a mountainside and all my family in the car getting killed.

I haven't dreamt much as of late, and many of the dreams I have had are similar pleasant recurring dreams about a certain girl. But when I do have bad dreams, I die in them. Often. It's really rather annoying, especially since a large number of them seem to be about committing suicide with no control over my actions. It's funny how people say you don't die in dreams. I sure do, for one. Except I see it, every moment of it, as though I were still standing there, just watching, which I hate.

I die in my nightmares sometimes.

Medusa and her stupid snake buddies have been after me past couple night.

Not sure if I've asked this before but... is it normal/ok not to have dreams ? I usually don't have dreams .... or does it also have to do with sleeping only 2 or 3 hours at night if at all ? Just wondering...
-
Sometimes you have dreams, sometimes you don't. Either way it's all normal.

When you first fall asleep, you first go into a light sleep stage, then a deep sleep stage, then into REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. You alternate between different types of sleep all night. When you are in REM sleep you are dreaming - on average, this happens five times a night. You don't remember your dreams unless you happen to wake up during or just after REM sleep, in which case you remember the last dream only. You need REM sleep - if you don't have it you end up dreaming while awake, and eventually lack of REM sleep will kill you. So everyone has dreams, but not everyone remembers any of them.
