I'm concerned about my developement. Is is normal to first start having wet dreams and ejaculating when your well into 17? I got my pubes several years before that, but my penis has only grown to a disapointing 4.75 inches. Everybody I know has sex all the time now, which is very normal at my age, but I can tell I'm not ready yet, which has led to some very awkward situations(I'm 19). I know I'm a little old to be worrying about this, and I should have inquired a long time ago, but honestly It's allways just been too embarrasing to bring up. Everybody says whenever you develope is normal, but this seems really late. My main questions are is it normal in any way to be this behind in developing? If so, can I expect my dick to grow until I'm in my 20's? And most of all, if this sounds messed up, what should I do, and who should I talk to? I would appreciate any thoughts or advice.

I'm concerned about my developement. Is is normal to first start having wet dreams and ejaculating when your well into 17? Seems normal enough to me. I started ejaculating around late 16.> I got my pubes several years before that, but my penis has only grown to a disapointing 4.75 inches. That isn't too bad really. It's only a little under average > Everybody I know has sex all the time now, which is very normal at my ageThey say they have sex all the time, but do you know that for sure ...> but I can tell I'm not ready yet, which has led to some very awkward situations(I'm 19). Don't feel bad about it. Better to have sex when it's the right time for you and it actually means something in a relationship rather than just having sex for the sake of it just because others have.> I know I'm a little old to be worrying about this, and I should have inquired a long time ago, but honestly It's allways just been too embarrasing to bring up. There's no problem with asking these things at 19>Everybody says whenever you develope is normal, but this seems really late. Puberty can start as late as 16/17 (or possibly more) or not be done until early twenties for some people.> My main questions are is it normal in any way to be this behind in developing? If so, can I expect my dick to grow until I'm in my 20's? Yes, it's quite normal and there is the possibility that your penis will continue to grow into twenties, particulatly if other aspects of your physical development are still continuing.> And most of all, if this sounds messed up, what should I do, and who should I talk to? I would appreciate any thoughts or advice. You could get your development checked by a doctor, there's probably nothing wrong with it, but that would atleast reassure you of any problems, or that everything is ok

"They say they have sex all the time, but do you know that for sure ..." Fair question, everybody says that, but believe me, I'm in the minority of my group of freinds. I'm not self concious about it, just wanting to make sure I'll be ready eventually(hopefully soon). On a side note, I'm not small for my age, and from the exterior I appear quite developed, except for my package of course(which sucks).
