It just means that you get more and more hours of entertainment! I'm eating large quantities of chocolate and drining a lot of Coke.

"You call this convenient...such a statement would be made by a person who's looking to find fault with the US"No, you're wrong there Thor, I'm not looking to find fault with the US as a nation. I would call it convenient for anyone who believed that there were WMD there in the first place, as it would verify their position. The facts are that no WMD were found, and as to the contents of those trucks, since they were not intercepted who is to know beyond doubt what was in them?I would really have to wonder two points about that: firstly, why Saddam wouldn’t have had the savvy to remove them before the US landed in the first place; it wasn’t as if he didn’t have enough warning they were on their way! Why would he risk even the possibility that they would be uncovered and the US war effort be endorsed in the eyes of the world? Also, despite everything you've said, I would really have to wonder why US forces wouldn’t have kept a closer eye on all of Iraq’s borders before they went into the place, never mind after that. We are living in a highly technological age; they could easily have kept a close watch on its borders via satellites. It seems like common sense to me. I mean, look at the crazy amount of US tax payers billions that are being poured into the war; are you really telling me in light of all that effort and money US military masterminds just let Saddam roll the fucking WMD out of the country in a half a dozen trucks in the dead of night? It just doesn’t sound logical or feasible to me.

I gotcha. I don't really get too deep with politics or anything. Seems like politicians are hated nowdays. People are so pessimistic. "There's nothing good in the world. America sucks" etc etc. It's like if a person is not where the antagonist is then their place is crap... so to speak if that makes sense lol. I was going to bring something up but I already know I'll get attacked for it. Not really in the mood lol. I'm basically everything most people oppose so it's best to leave that alone lol. I would like to have kids living in safe world but evidently that won't be happening. But whatever it's all good. I think I mostly oppose Communism not just because of what I'm taught but the actions I see when I leave my house. There's this group made up of about 100-150 teens in my school called the NaziKnocks and for a long time they've been discussing something called the Hitler Vision. I'd rather not get involved with it because it just doesn't sound good at all. At least I know the reason why I get looks when I pass down their hallway. They no likey my kind, not racewise but more like.... something else.Oh and there's this new girl in my school with the STRONGEST Irish accent if I've ever heard one and she sounds like an angel. Name is Victoria and I think I've gotten on her nerves asking her constantly to say my name. My new best friend. lol
-
What part of Ireland is she from? Is she long living in the States? And you shouldnt be afraid of voicing your opinions for fear of what others will say Japanfan, your views are as valid and have as much right of expression as anyone elses on here or anywhere, and dont be forgetting that!
-
Altho unfortunately A.W. cannot be here with us at this moment in time, please allow me to convey his thoughts."Yes Abi! I agree absolutely 100%!!! You are so right!!! I don't know what I would do in this world without being able to agree with your opinions that I never mention having at all in any seperate conversation!!"

Are you confusing Nazism and Communism? If not what are the communist actions you see when you leave your house?
-
I may be confusing Nazism (sp?) with Communism but then again most of these people claim to be Communist or whatever so it's a bit confusing. They're like "I'm a skinhead Communist and I'm d@amned proud of it" guy said that too. It's a bit uncomfortable and confusing at the same time.
thanks bob you've made my life 10x better and I'm in total bliss right now :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
and Star she moved to America from Ireland about 4 months ago she told me.
-
They sound like little punks who claim to believe in something they don't know the first thing about. Nazis were fiercly opposed to communists, heck they killed millions of them!
-
I hope so. at least I know that it's stupid people that are being rebellious and racist for stupid reasons. don't have to take it to heart too much
-
Most probably do it just to fit in (hopefully), it's when it turns into something like American History X that you can worry.

This is the biggest crock of conspiracy theory crap I've heard in a long time. Is Bush a liberal asshole? He says there were no WMDs in Iraq. That infrared satellite evidence...can you point me to it? No? That's because it's a lie. It is a complete fabrication. If that's what you're hanging your hat on as a justification for invading Iraq, you are deeply misguided.Perhaps if you repeat that lie enough times it will become truth, agenda dude. That Iraq could have moved piles of WMDs (whatever the hell you mean by that term) to Syria in the window of time they would have had is laughable on its face. There is no evidence of it. It would have been obvious to the satellites of many nations, as well as the massive amount of air surveillance that was going on at the time. You can bet your ass that Bush would have produced that evidence if it existed (why would keeping it classified even matter)? Is it part of your agenda to believe farcical nonsense to justify Bush's utterly wrong-headed invasion? I mean, do you even have any doubt, or do you just accept it, hook, line, and sinker? There were no WMDs. Give it up.
-
No...it was a newscast I saw...complete with satellite photography. I saw it live on CNN. It was the only time it was broadcast. Once.
-
I'm glad I'm wrong about your not looking to find fault with anybody in the face of the facts. In answer to your question as to who knows what was in those trucks, the Syrians certainly do. And some of them are talking. And the US forces DID watch the borders via satellite...that's how we caught the convoy leaving. We were just too far away at the time to do anything. As for the barrels that were flown out via jet-liners, we only found out about that after one of the pilots talked. Here's one article...there are many others to be found, IF AND ONLY IF, you are seriously interested in the truth...and not just slamming the president of the US or the US itself. If your motives are elsewhere, you will of course never find the articles I speak of. This one was from Saddam's Air-marshall...there are others from Syrian ex-military and from the pilot of one of the aircraft Sada mentions:http://www.nysun.com/article/26514?page_no=4
-
Oh...and Steve...you're full of vindictive crap as usual.
-
I am gonna have to agree with Steve on this matter. If something as important as a convoy possibley smuggling weapons of mass destruction was found, it would have received a large amount of coverage. Especially if it was seen entering Syria. You seem to be misguided by your thoughts of the media. Altho many of them, most of them in fact, do not agree with the war in Iraq or Bush's administration, they are still journalists and the entire world media would not ignore it.
-
And if you are wrong, what does that say about the media?
-
If I was wrong then the media has abused their duties. But currently all evidence points to you being wrong, or a liar.
-
All evidence? Either you're blind or a liar.
-
You need to put up or shut up on the WMDs-to-Syria fantasy. I'm not sure that you realize how gullible you are if you actually do believe it. It's rubbish, conspiracy boy.> And if you are wrong, what does that say about the media? And if your mom slept with the milk man, how would you feel? Bad, presumably, if it actually happened. But it didn't happen.Have you ever stopped to think that all big media is owned by big business? Whose interests is it likely that they serve? The main problem with news is that it has become much less invstigational. I serously wonder if, today, something like the Watergate scandal would be uncovered.
