Hi everyone,I am 20 years old male and virgin. I have a question regarding my penis angle. When it is erect, it is parallel to my body (standing, sitting, all positions). My problem is that I find it almost impossible to make it perpendicular to my body.Somewhere in a post regarding penis angle, I have read that if you have it straight and up,it's fine but still you should be able to move it and this is very hard for me to do.Do I have a trouble here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hard to do

It's not necessarily a problem although it can restrict your angles and positions during sex.

I agree with sdp. Missionary should be fine. Furthermore, as you get older the flexibility will increase, the angle will become lower, and more positions will become possible, which will be nice.

The only problem I can think of besides the positions issue, is that if the penis is forced downward, the suspensory ligaments/tendons/whatever is holding it tight CAN snap. I couldn't tell you if this is painful or not, but the angle would be permanantly changed....

Hey, thanks for the reply. I think it IS ABNORMAL. Hope it gets better with time. :frowning:

Really I don't think that it is abnormal. Most virgin guys have very tight ligaments and it's quite common for the erect penis to point straight up. As you begin to have sex, the ligament will stretch and you won't be able to have a "straight-up" erection any more. Just be sure that your first few times are not too rough. The guys your seeing in the pornos where their penises are at 90 degrees to their abdomen are, as you know, far from virgins.

Hmm. Thanks readytogo, it was very helpful.

fI dont think I agree with that, least not in whole.I always had a straight up boner, now Im 35, I still do. I can get it facing out more for things like doggy and what not, its not painful, doesnt feel uncomfortable at all. but if I pull it out of her, it still instantly springs back to full up.I agree with what ya said, but between you, and the rest of the thread it seemed implied that it eventually will face out rather then up, thats what I disagree with. fI think it becomes more ummmmm flexible, but not so much stretched out, otherwise I wouldnt have a point to the sky boner at 35 years old. flexible sounds better then stretched, atleast in my ears.

Yeah, agreed. I think guys like me just need to be more careful while having sex.(but only when it's first time or so, lol .)

Yeah, I'm the same way, although not quite as old (close tho).

My roommate has a straight up boner. And it sticks straight up - never out or down. It causes him no problem at all when having sex although as was mentioned by others there are a few positions he finds uncomfortable.Mine on the other hand is no longer a belly hugger. I tends to stick straight out (perpendicular to my body) though on occasion it will point upwards. I have more manouverability than my roommate in terms of where I point it. Though as I recall, when I was a horny teenager I tended to be a belly hugger too. I guess it just loosened as I got out of that phase.
