I haven't posted in this community in a long time. But lately i felt the need to come here to ask for help. About two weeks ago i noticed a small pea sized lump on my left testicle and i am extremely worried it can be cancer. It is not free floating it is attatched to it. First thing i thought was cancer but then i said no way im only 16. Well further research informed me that men ages 15 and up can get this form of cancer. I'm not usually one to show my soft side because in person im a "tough dude" you could say but this is really bothering me and i am particularly uncomfortable with talking about this to my parents or doctor. If anyone could give me some information or factually reassure me it could be something else i would really appreciate it.

Hi thereEven at 16 your health should over ride any embrasement that you might feel about asking your parents to take you to the doc because you have a problem.Nither yourself or I am a doctor so it might be wis to go and get this checkd out man. Doctors deal with this kin d of stuff everyday - they will be profensional about it so there is no need to worry about getting a eaxm by a doc.Just get to the doc and get it checked out ot be on the safe side - and let us know how u get on.

yea,all i can say is you need to get to the docs ASAP!

Thank you, i've talked to a close friend soon after i posted this and he too thinks i should think positive and just get it checked out asap. So i suppose tomorrow i'll just tell my mom my situation and have her schedual an appointment. I'll have a follow up post, hopefully no cancer. I'm too young to die, or lose a testicle at that

You gotta take care of your bits and pieces. It could just be a cyst, or it could not, but it's worth getting looked at. You certainly don't want to wait if it's the cancerous.

Look for a urologist in your local yellow pages (or whatever) and get yourself checked. The longer you wait, the worse things can be. It could be nothing, but I'm with the others who've responded: there's nothing more important than your health...and as a guy, the health of my boys is paramount!

Yeah, get to the doctor to have it examined. Don't worry about the doctor or be embarrassed. You have nothing to be embarrassed about. The doctor has seen thousands of penises and balls of all shapes and sizes, and all sorts of different problems. I can guarantee you you don't have anything the doctor hasn't seen before.
