When you working out, you tried so hard just to get that 1 rep that you hadn't get it before, you finally got it, and you were so tired as ****. Then you felt something familiar in your tastebud and thats blood. I don't know if tasting blood is meaning that you have reached your limit, that you can't go up another lvl of your training. I tasted many times when doing some reps with my brother for several hours. Anybody experienced this before?
-
Does taste blood a bad sign to your "limit"?
-
one time doing pushups i pushed myself so hard that blood shot out of my nose and down my face. maybe thats cuz i dont breathe so good when i work out.
-
Why are you weight training for several hours straight?
-

I dont weight training. I freestyle training. Pushup, pull up, running, fighting, etc. I like to push myself beyond my limit because i want to know how far a human body can take the punishments. However, i am now afraid that i might die if i push too much. Since tasted blood perhaps is a sign that i must stop pushing myself. I won't stop though, but i wonder if there is anybody out there that experienced the same situation as i did beside my brother.

You may have burst a blood vessel in your mouth. If you push yourself too hard for do long, even if you don't kill yourself, you might cause permanent injury to your body. You will be very sorry when you're older.> i want to know how far a human body can take the punishmentsA human body, or your body? You can push your body until it breaks. So what does that prove? You can find plenty of data on what the human body can take without destroying your own.

well, all i know is i was doing about 60 pushups on my fists with my legs raised, and breathing distracts me so much that i held my breath and my face tightened and blood literally shot out down my face
-
breathing distracts me so much that i held my breathBad idea. You can do some real damage. Learn scuba diving, and the holding breath reflex will be beaten out of you.
-
Yeah, breathing is really important when exercising. Allot of exercise is very much about self control, you have to make sure you stay in form and not reposition to make the exercise easier (youre just fooling yourself doing that), breathing is EXTREMELY important since the reason you breath hard when exercising is to get more oxygen to the parts that need it. Remember you can train to a point in which it doesnt make much differance doing more.

You may have burst a blood vessel in your mouth. If you push yourself too hard for do long, even if you don't kill yourself, you might cause permanent injury to your body. You will be very sorry when you're older.Thats the beauty of the human body. Our body can regenerate when we ripped the muscles from training too much, or taste blood, anything that doesn't cause serious injury. Then the body can regenerate and replace with a better and stronger tissues. As for me being tasted blood. Yes, i may have burst a blood vessel but it can be fix. Heck, i been training for 4 yrs so i got used to it. Therefore, permanent injury is impossible. >>A human body, or your body? You can push your body until it breaks. So what does that prove? You can find plenty of data on what the human body can take without destroying your own.Push your body until it breaks is just too general. As of right now, i dont know how and cant explain my theory. I guess reading all the proven datas aren't enough for me. I have to experience it to believe it.

Actually, when you push yourself too hard continuously you can damage tissues and develop scar tissue and inflammation that causes permanent damage that will affect you for the rest of your life. The human body isn't as impervious as you think it is. This is why what you're doing is so hard of your body. It's also why if you strain joints like knees, shoulder, back (I know, not really a joint, but flexible with easily damaged connective tissues) then you often develop continuous problems with them at an older age.Pushing yourself is fine, but be sure you understand the repercussions. You will likely stress yourself to the point of causing permanent damage. Are you sure it's worth it? Perhaps you should have a specific goal if you're going to do the kind of damage to your body, such as training for a particular event or competition. For example, I know the stress I'm putting on my body, but I do triathlon and am training to do an Ironman in a couple years hopefully. If you've been doing this for any length of time you may have already started to waste your joints. Oh, also, for genetic reasons you can only replace cells in your tissues so many times before you're unable to do it any more. I could explain why, but the simple answer is that your cells can only divide so many times before they begin to destroy their own genetic material. Search "telomeres" for those interested.

well actually, my sole purpose of started training is to find out how far my body can go, since the time that i watched the histories about Bruce Lee. He is as u can say magnificently impossible. He did things that no other human being can. Therefore, he is like my mentor and i wanted to reach that goal.I'm having a right shoulder joint problem just like u said. However, the strangest thing is that if i stop training for a few weeks, then the problem would come back and if i start again then it would go away.About the telomeres, that is interesting...but do you think those supplement pills would help it?

Push your body until it breaks is just too general. As of right now, i dont know how and cant explain my theory. I guess reading all the proven datas aren't enough for me. I have to experience it to believe it.Dude, you've been watching way too many movies. You seem to have actors playing roles confused with real people. I hope you don't have to experience that pulling the trigger of a gun pointed at your head will probably kill you.As RobBob says, you can do permanent damage to your joints. You can wear them out. When that happens, they will not regenerate, no matter how much glucosamine / chondroitin you take. Artritis really sucks. Ask any number of retired athletes. I don't know why you think you're an exception. Youthful exuberance?> telomeresThere's currently no known way to deactivate telomeres. If there were, it might greatly increase your chance of getting cancer. You will grow old like the rest of us. Whether you do it with a broken body is your choice.

hey im just being honest, thats how i feel and think of my training. I am also aware of those serious injuries. Yes, ur right its my body so i need to take care of it. As long as my body can withstand the tough training, then i'll keep pushing it. I really appreciated all the tips, thks everybody.
