Shaving
-
have you tried shaving in the same direction that your hair grows in?It helps.
-
yes but that doesnt always get all the hair
-
In General... Doing that is probably a bad idea... You can get some very unpleasant experiences from attempting to do it.
-
come on!! anyone got any ideas?
-
Yeah, a rather unpopular one.
Be a man and not a boy.
Trim if you must, but leave the hair where it belongs. -
From what I hear, since it's sensitive skin it's often impossible to completely eradicate the problem, but it gets better with time as the skin gets used to it (presumably it thickens up a bit). Some people have spoken well of a product made by this firm, but I have no personal experience. It is also said that the top-of-the-line razors, with many blades, give a better result.

To start with, I hope you're trimming the hairs as short as you can with an electric clipper. Then try shaving during or after a bath or shower, when the hairs are softest. Don't use a dull razor and use one which has a shaving head which rotates with your body contours.Afterwards, try putting some talcom powder on your balls to sooth the skin, I think this will help greatly with the discomfort.

I agree with chritiaan Medicated baby powder with Aloe vera is a godsend on the razor burn i dont know about bald but i keep mine to a patch at the base of my penis. i have a little stubble around it but an electric razor will take care of that. and as for the balls i dont take anything sharp to them if i must do something its a trim and nothing else.
-
I know that in women, baby powder may cause cervical cancer... Does anyone know if it has bad effects on men?
-
yeah i tried the aloe vera stuff and it is amazing. thanx

Dude, settle down. I was joking. I mean, kind of.
I'm actually one of the good guys.
I truly meant no offense. -
sry i snapped. its just i have to deal with jerks all the time and i guess i mistook u for one of them. yeah im an anime junky and the jocks/preps constantly feel the need to get on my nerves. but my friends and i just laugh at how stupid they are and get on with our lives. so once again i apologize

No harm, no foul.I'll just take it as a reminder to me to be more careful when I'm responding to folks who haven't been around long enough to figure me out.I could have done that differently.Basically I was just stating that I don't understand the whole shaving thing. I spent all those years looking forward to becoming a man - and pubic hair was one of the indicators that was happening - I just don't understand why someone would want to shave their body and look like a little boy again. But that's just me. There are a lot of men on here who shave, obviously.

i had too much hair and it got to be a pain. so i got fed up and trimmed it with scissors. then i started thinkin of what it would look like completly gone. well i actually liked it(with the exception of the redness)so i want to continue doing it.

What is it you like about being clean shaven?

I always thought that it looked really stupid to have a relatively hair free body (we don't have fur all over like animals) and the there's your bits with this clump of hair all around it. I never thought it looked good and I hardly needed it to prove I was growing up, there were plenty of other physical markers, so I shaved it off and I keep it shaved.A few ties I've been with someone who was surprised I was shaved, but it never went beyond that and several have since started shaving too.

exactly that CLEAN shaven. its nice and smooth and you dont get it caught in your zipper and you dont rip out a fist full of hair when you go to scratch a certain itch. and i just think it looks better.

anybody got any advice or experience with those hair removal creams?
