Why don't you google it yourself, thor? I did, and it wasn't hard to find full texts.Google Books: Jefferson's Notes on the State of Virginia. Go to page 172.The whole text of Jefferson's letter to Adams

And what point would that be? If you want to make a point, why don't you say it?Which letter of Adam's - the one before or the one after? Why? You can always keep increasing your demands, but you can find their letters online if you try. This has nothing to do with sources. You were given the sources, and instead of being man enough to look them up yourself, you sat in a corner and whinged that you weren't given the context. It fools no-one. When I ask you for sources it's because you haven't given any, and invariably you haven't got any.

I thought I did give you a source. I stated the book title.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jefferson_Bible"The Jefferson Bible, or The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth as it is formally titled, was Thomas Jefferson's effort to extract the doctrine of Jesus by removing sections of the New Testament containing supernatural aspects as well as perceived misinterpretations he believed had been added by the Four Evangelists.[1][2]"1# ^ Jeremy Kosselak (November 1998). Point out specific errancies from each citation. Then source why they are error's.Until you do that, your postings have no merit and therefore you have no voice in this discussion. At this point I'm talking to a brick wall.Pretty ironic considering you probably have equal intelligence to a brick wall.

I have more sources in this page then you have in all of your postings on afraidtoask.
Unfortunately, unlike others who have put up with your non-sense, I will not. Until you address my posts with facts and with references, that are unbiased, I will not even recognize that you have posted.
Good luck.

That's what I figured. What liberal zealots have come to refer to as the "Jefferson Bible" was in no way an attempt by him to rewrite the Bible. No plans were ever made to do so...no publisher was ever contacted...it's all an internet fabrication by those who want to believe in such rubbish. Go to the home of any Christian and open their Bible...chances are good you will find notes scribbled in theirs as well. But the bottom line here is that THESE ARE PERSONAL NOTES!!! It is/was NOT an attempt by anyone, including Jefferson, to rewrite the Bible! Any such inference is completely without basis in fact...but liberals just loooooove the idea, don't they.
