Crazy Video

I've been trying to find the news articles that must have followed this but it's possible that none of them would be in English. I did find one reference to the possibility of an epileptic seizure and that the player is alive and well now but it was only in a blog posting.I'm fairly sure that the "Angel of Death" didn't toss the poor fellow around then snatch his soul.
-
i dont think that happened but thats the most fucked thing ever.
-
yep, it sure is a weird little video
-
i read that he may have swallowed his tongue
-
The explanation that I heard for this video is that one of the other players accidentally kicked him in the nose and sent a bone into his brain. So I'm not sure if it was an instant death, but even if it wasn't, dead bodies can sometimes do weird things. Coroners are aware of this and usually have tales of corpses randomly flailing their arms for a moment, even hours after their death.
-
the nose "bone" in the brain thing is a bit of a myth as the nose is made of cartilage. It's also impossible for someone to swallow his tongue
-
The bridge of the nose is made of bone. Well, 2 bones to be precise.
-
nasal bonecartilage of septumeither way, I've neither killed nor been killed by an upper cut to the nose
-
Thats because it would take a tremendous amount of force to do it, such as a kick from a professional footballer. My uncle is an ex-Army Ranger and he told me about this stuff. He also mentioned that to successfully do the nasal-bone/brain thing with your hands, you need to break the nose first so then the uppercut sends fractured bone into the brain.

Saysha had an intense accident. She collided with another bike in the woods during a power failure in england.
She had her face completely smashed and her nose went into her brain. They had to completely reconstruct her face. They said she wouldnt make it .. it was a miracle she survived. I believe parts of her face are actually made out of corral.

you got me thinking so I found this article Quote:You cannot drive the nose bone into the brain. It cannot be done by any martial arts blow, and never has been done. Anyone who argues to the contrary is misinformed (and a bit stubborn) and stands in opposition to overwhelming medical and anatomical information. There are numerous other articles by martial arts experts that back this up.

I don't really buy into this video at all. First of all the player didn't "kick" him in the head.. He stuck his left leg up to stop/control the ball. No way that would have caused much of an injury. And if the guy did have a seizure, I highly doubt he would be doing backflips and running backwards. I think it's all BS.
