some people seem to be thinking that homosexuality, bisexuality, is all a new practice. Like we're not ready for it, like it's just come around within the last couple of years, like a geriatric refusing to use the internet. umm...no it's not new, it's been around as long as man has, and the fact that it's still frowned upon, makes me think, hmmm, maybe there is a reason that we don't accept it, maybe we're not supposed to try to take two men or women, and stick them together...maybe we need to stop thinking that it's the homo/bi-sexuals that are the enlightened ones.
-
Bi relationships..
-
I don't think they're enlightened, I'm just pro choice. Sorry if the way I put it made it sound that way though. The way I look at it is how can you tell people not to do that, when they love people of the same gender just the way most people love people of the opposite gender. (I know this has some irrelevance if you look at it from the view that: not having people love others of the opposite gender would lead to us depopulating ourselves)
-
naw, my man, i was just replying to the last poster, not at you directly.
-
thank you RobBob, EMFB or w/e his name is seem to like to take statements out of context to try to prove his point. Yes I was referring to this situation...of course there is right and wrong when it comes to murder and stealing...lol
-
Well if there is right and wrong in one aspect of life there is right and wrong for all aspects of life. It is just completely ridiculus to say/believe that just because someone CAN do something that makes it ok if they do DO it, and it should only be considered DIFFERENT. Well sure its different, and there is probably a reason that it is different. Whether or not people realize it there is right and wrong, good and evil and there always will be. P.S. Do you seriously struggle with my name? its four letters....and you actually got them in order...wow.
-
Sure there is right and wrong. Homosexuality is biologically wrong. It's wrong, but you aren't going to stop someone from making that choice. Like blackman said, it's always been around. You punish people for stealing or killing because it has a negative impact on people in society. There are things people do that are wrong, but only affects themselves so they are not punished. Homosexuality might be wrong, but realistically, it doesn't impact anyone else, but I'm sure you can list some things.
-
homosexuality doesnt impact anyone else.... until the idea is forced at children and attempts are made to put it into main stream and expect everyone to consider it NORMAL.
-
I must say that you all are rather childish and naive; at least within this thread. First and foremost, there is absolutely nothing wrong with homosexuality. It isn't wrong, against biology, or whatnot. It doesn't induce reproduction, yet is apparent in nearly every species of organism known to man. Why? Because it is a natural process. And homosexuality is a choice, not something you are "born" with. Biology does tend to play an important role in such factors, but is not an excuse or a reason for why someone is homosexual. I must say, to those of you who on this thread have uttered any of this nonsense, please check the facts, become less of an asshole, and accept people for who they are. And as for you, EMFB, you claim that homosexuality is bad yet gay people shun beastiality? Who is to say that having sexual intercourse with a non-member of our species is wrong? Is there such law that claims that if a person were to engage in such activities they would be smitten from the Earth? There isn't, because to each his own. It is completely dependent on one's tastes and enjoyment. Who is to say stealing is wrong, or murder is wrong? It is in the eye of the beholder, not on what majority thinks. Stop being such a beligerent bastard and start opening your mind to new ideas, regardless of whether you agree or not.

In reply to:
LMAO, no right and wrong, you are so stupid. Ofcourse there is right and wrong
Who are you to say what is right and wrong? You are such a child to believe such faulty reasonings. I hope that you truly grow up sometime soon, as this belief is far from right. Of course as people being raised in this era we are led to believe that stealing and murder is wrong, but who is to say that it is? When did it become wrong, and why? There are many things that I may consider wrong that you do not. Why? Because RIGHT and WRONG are very biased and opinionated terms. So just shut up and stop making a fool of yourself.
-
lol good luck finding others with your thinking How can you sit there and not believe that murder and stealing are wrong? Because they are in the Eye of the Beholder? IT WAS HE WHO SAID IT WAS WRONG, or need i quote the 10 commandments? And as for the beastiality comment, who's to say it's wrong? NATURE SAYS SO, Trying to interbreed a cat and a mouse, are impossible, and if you try to mix genetics you're attempting to play God. If you still thinks it's wrong, find me two completely different animals, not like horses and zebras, but like bulls and seagulls, or man and horse, make a child, show us, and then when we see it's possible, i'll believe that it was meant to happen that way, and beastiality isn't completely wrong. Thanks

There is not even reason to respond to you two, both of you are obviously about as smart as a walnut. No right and wrong not even murder or stealing, what the fuck do you have between your two ears, fucking helium?I am glad however to see you use the open minded cliche, its been about a day since some uninformed debater looked to the bottom of his empty bag-o-rebuttals and throw it out again. But you re-introduced it, kudos. Shall we analyze it again? It really is annoying having to explain the same damn thing over and over as more nitwits come out of the woodworks.Whether or not you believe there is right or wrong there is, and apparently you should take some biology courses, learn about evolution, read about darwin, get religion, or something. Im still laughing that you said stealing or murdering are in the eye of the beholder, DAMN man, you trolling me??? Or are you a WHOLE pack short of a six pack.
-
you two who? hope you weren't talking to me...
-
Blackmanoncampus, just because two species cannot breed together does not make for an action to be wrong. Biologically it could not happen, but that does not make it wrong nor right. That is to say, if there were a gene encoded within human DNA to cause some humans to kill, would that make murder right? No. Justifying right or wrong based upon genetics is a rash and crude statement. My point is not to say that beastiality is right, and homosexuality is right, because I am not at liberty to say if anything is right or wrong. And neither are you. Right and Wrong are concepts created by people. They are moral laws to which humans justify their actions and misshappens, and they cannot be justified at all. For instance, cannibalism to Americans is a gross and disgusting act, while in some native tribes it is seen as a sign of respect towards the person they are consuming. Is this wrong because we view it as such? Culture, moral upbringing, and the history to which we have learned all contribute to our views of right and wrong, and as such no one has the right to say what is the morally sound thing to do or not.
I believe this discussion is over.

Trolling you? I laugh at you. This is not to say that I believe stealing is the correct way to live life, nor am I saying I support the ways of others. What I am saying is that genetics do not dictate what is right or wrong. And as for the open minded remark, you are about as open minded as the snail I found in my backyard. You lack the concept of ideas that are outside of your universe, and for that, there is simply no argument that could be told to make you acheive this sense of knowledge. As for taking biology courses, I am a biology major. The simple fact that two gay men cannot copulate does not mean the act, that is the compassion, the emotions, and the rest of the events that rest around homosexuality, are not judged by the fact that "Hey they can't produce a baby." Don't give me the "read Darwin" crap, because Darwin has nothing to do with homosexuality, and neither does the concept of evolution. If homosexuality were such a horrible deed, organisms would not do it. It is that simple. However, we find that it occurs constantly in the animal kingdom. So please, attempt at a better argument. Oh yes, and as for religion, religion is based upon faith, which is nothing more than people finding reassurance in the fact that there is someone higher than they that can make the world better for them. Does God exist? Who knows, but you cannot say "Well the bible says gay is bad." simply because it is written in a book. Many things have been written throughout history, and most, if not all, have been rewritten as time progresses.

I get my views of right and wrong from a higher power, not by anything force fed to me when i was a child. So, if i'm not at liberty to voice my opinions on what i believe is what and wrong, based upon what the Lord Almighty has told me through his teachings, then my friend, you are the one who is mistaken, the Lord said homosexuality is wrong, although not put into the 10 commandments, he clearly specifies this in his teachings, stealing is wrong, lying is wrong, coveting thy neighbor's things is wrong, envy is wrong, all these were specifically spelled out...
-
Blackmanoncampus, please do not misunderstand. I am not going to denounce your beliefs. In fact, I respect them. However, not everyone -including myself- believes in a God or in the same teachings. In that respect, I can clearly say that no one is at liberty to say what is right or wrong.
If you believe the teachings from the Bible, that is to be respected, but you cannot impose those beliefs and tell someone what they are doing is wrong if they don't share that belief.
-
thank you, but i was not trying to impose anything, sorry if it appeared that way. with that said, i'm goin to retire to the background. with my peace being said.
-
Yea, same here. I find its often hard to debate such controversial topics online as there is so much that one can say, and the fact that many people take things way out of context.
