On the international stage, I'd say Bush is trying to have the same fame with A. Hitler :P. Almost nobody likes him. Personally, I think of him as a warlike dummy puppet.Social care and technological progress are much more precious than just making wars.

Social care and technological progress are much more precious than just making wars. totally agree, though i have to say a whole lot of the progress in the fields of technology, care and safety are made through military experiments and wars..........and before i get flamed Im not saying yay war is a good thing....ok

Lets see, Ok heres my back up evidence for him hating jews "Damn, They were into Crematoriums" as said joking during a tour of Aushwitz death camp, and in his biography a quote was "Black people, well, they are just different from us. And, I have difficulties with different." If you want more ill give you more. As for the stem cell research thing, this DIRECTLY affects me, so i am going to whine, bitch, and complain about this non-stop. if you need evidence that he is anti-science because of the "Moral questions" AKA religous questions, I dont think my boss will let me email you our "Friendly fax" letting us know our budget has just been oblitherated. And for the Economy, WE ARE 6.9 TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT!!!

But there is no need to provide evidence when all that has been done is been evidence. Lets look at the economy. Highest trade deficit ever in this country. Our economy is doing so bad that we have to have China buy our bonds (you know what I am talking about) so that we can keep trading. International. Bush has started wars with "evil" people. We are fighting the people of the Middle East b/c they now hate us for taking over 1 country and destroying another. Looks like we are going to have the Korean War all over again, except this time it wont be as pretty. This Bush is the first President to really screw so much up.Also on the local level. Where did all that money go that was "needed" for disaster relief for Katrina. The billions BUsh asked for, never got devoted.Look Bush is a terrible President. 95% of the time he is making bad decisions. He is appointing people in Washington that should not be there. And just so everyone knows I am not a republican or Democrat, I float aroun to the best choice based on the persons decisions to certain situations, and I remember thinking Bush was a terrible choice. Also what the hell was he thinking putting a Arab corporating in charge of US port security? The things he does are just for money. Funny how the rebuilding or Iraq required bringing in a bunch of cronies from past companies...

Actually the debt is:The Debt To the PennyCurrent Amount03/02/2006 $8,270,651,337,575.14From: U.S. Treasury As for how great the economy is. Granted I am making more money now than ever before but in reality given the cost of food and gas what I have left at the end of each month is substantially less than just four years ago. You don't need to tell me I know, fuel and food are not figured into inflation and, supposedly, are not appropriate factors to figure into it. I wish the economist could get that theory thru to my wallet.

In reply to:
last i checked he was hated by everyone.
Except of course myself, Damien, Tony Blair, and the people who voted him in.
I say hes good on the international stage cos I agree with his foreign policy. Hopefully within ten or twenty years our soldiers will be marching through Tehran. Thanks to Bush that will be. Western civilisation will be safe again. Of course these views of mine are rarely popular til after such conflicts have taken place, as we can learn from history.
As for US debt and your economy well I am not particualrly bothered to much, as Britisher what you do with your economy is little of my business as long the British economy is allowed to grow and flourish.

In reply to: Social care and technological progress are much more precious than just making wars. We will have no social care or technological progress if we arent willing to go to war from time to time to preserve our power, security, wealth, and ideals.

He's actually the ONLY person who makes me really really angry, just thinking about him. Honestly, I don't know how anyone in their right mind support him. And that goes for my mother. I can't talk politics with her anymore because it does nothinig but piss me off.The man is an idiot and being an idiot is okay, you just don't want one behind the wheel. What amazes me is the way he's manipulating things and the public at large is completely unaware, or they just don't give a fuck. By the time they wake up and ask "What the fuck?!" it'll be far too late. I mean, how on earth are they getting away with changing the rule to redistrict texas so more republicans are in congress? Seriously. More people really need to see the chess pieces moving.
-
Iwhole heartedly agree with you on that. I do not like his domestic policies that are curbing liberty, infact it disgusts me (its for the same reason that I detest Tony Blair). However I do not live in your country and thus judge primarily by his foreign policy.
-
In reply to: However I do not live in your country and thus judge primarily by his foreign policy. His foreign policy ain't doing to good. I really am glad we've liberated Iraq but it was for the wrong reasons and that's not cool. You don't claim that there are weapons blah blah blah, march in and then start saying you went there primarily to set the people free. The approach was wrong and. no matter how good the result, will always be wrong. He pulls the wool over people's eyes far too often and the sheep go right along with it. Going into Iraq has also stirred up a huge bee's nest, and the fallout will get much worse before it can begin to get better.
-
He gave the wrong reason yes, which was a mistake. However we cant state openly the true reason. The Iraq War has nothing to do with...OilDemocracySaddam HusseinIslam9/11Iraqi LibertyWeapons of Mass DestructionThe first gulf warIts only to do with one thing...IranIt a decade or so we will go to war with Iran (regardless of whetehr theres a democrat or republican in the white house). I belief this has been a long term plan since before 9/11, 9/11 merely serving as a useful (if regretable) catalyst. We must take out Iran for the safety of every one of us because they really are a threat to the west, they are open about it themselves. We could not invade Iran without taking Iraq and Afghanistan first, giving us bases of attack. This next war will not be a short war, it will be along drawn out campaign. We'll attack Iran, Israel will take on the Irani ally of Syria, and MAYBE India and Pakistan will attack each other. Its not going to be nice, but it will make the world a safer place. Some wars are neccesary, history has taught us so.
-
In reply to:Except of course myself, Damien, Tony Blair, and the people who voted him in. I wouldnt go that far. Tony Blair likes him becuase its in his best interest to like him. The people who voted him in dont necessarily like him anymore. Since of course his apporval rating has dropped below 40% and it took alot more than that to vote him in. Id say hes lost people who like him
-
Tony Blair full-on likes him I'm sure of it, not only is it in there interest to work together but they have many ideological sympathies, despite one being nominally left and the other right.
-
Well then i feel sorry for you guys too. What is this world coming too, There are two George Bushes now.....FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SAVE US ALL!!!!!
-
Well I happen not to like Tony Blair and I'm glad his popularity is waning. Soon we will have Democrats in White house and Tories in number 10. This will hopefully mean we both will no longer have our liberty curbed, and I would be very surprised if the long-term plans of foreign policy change, so I wont really miss Bush, but I recognise the importnat part he's played in preparing for the war with Iran.
-
okay no offense to you, but you need to be in the US for this one. Bushes approval rating is 34% that includes people that voted for him. Yes his conquest of Iraq was for oil among many things. Going into Iraq boosted the profits of the oil companies. You realize that going to war with Iran = Nuclear war. There are countries over there that posses nuclear weapons and countries like Pakistan will not be afraid to use them if the US imposes itself on them.I believe that you have a very skewed view of Bush. His whole campaing on the world is to make himself look good so he can do as he pleases. In reply to: He gave the wrong reason yes, which was a mistake. However we cant state openly the true reason. The Iraq War has nothing to do with...OilDemocracySaddam HusseinIslam9/11Iraqi LibertyWeapons of Mass DestructionThe first gulf war Okay lets go through that list...Oil he did go after to bnoost sales of family run/affiliated company. That is about it. Everything else is not a factor but he did use them in public speeches to the public as a means to attack Iraq. Bush is for money. And personally to say that Bush is a good guy and is not so bad, is like pissing on all of the people of the US that are now without jobs, worse education. I mean cutting education and things of that sort to spend on a war that is meaningless. If anyone has noticed he is directing his speeches to make the Iraq Attack seem like nothing so that money is spent on it, but the American Publics focus is somewhere else. This current government has been brainwashing most of its public into its beliefs. 9/11 was just the catalyst this party needed to do what they have done.

EDIT:Sorry Bobbo, I meant to reply to you and answer about impeaching but I started ranting and all this came out instead, its not directed at you so do not take it personally, now I need a smoke you bastards got me all worked up again We can not impeach Bush, no one will bring the charges (I would not even know where to start what with starting a bullshit war, war crimes, incompetence the list it just goes on and on) who has authority to do so. When Billy boy got popped for getting blow job, he was a democrat in a Republican lead house, now its republicans with a republican pres who's going to start the whole process?Bush should be taken out and beaten like a fucking gong but keep in mind that he is nothing more then an idiot and incompetent ass and meat puppet of Chaney.bush takes his orders from god who apparently takes them from Chaney.Walken, really you best watch your ass, Hunter s Thompson once said in a speech at a college something about Bush being evil and should be stomped to death and that he would join in. very soon after he found himself charged with drummed up bullshit charges and was looking at some serious time in prison. We can all bitch about bush or support that fart sucking bastard but what remains is that this post is about asking the question of stem cell. Moral standpoint is it right or wrong to use stem cells for research into cures for millions of people ?we already know that you can get pregnant or tube grow a baby and stop its development early to harvest stem cells. If its that sort of harvesting I can understand having a moral issue with it but there are thousands of abortions everyday where they end up being medical waste and helms already told us about stem cells left from after birth that are discarded as waste, what the fuck is the problem moral or otherwise in using them to harvest for research to cure so many ?Bush has no problem sending our sons and daughters to die in Iraq for no good reason. You want the real reason? its personal, Saddam threatened his daddy and here we are. When he first took office he told his advisor's to "find me a reason to goto war with Iraq"he wanted it from the fucking get go and as to the world, fuck the world, fuck making it a safer place, the last war that had any good reason was fighting Hitler and his bullshit. or when the US got involved in WWII after being bombed. fuck Iraq and fuck Iran they are no threat to anyone at the current time and while they are working on a nuclear field part of the reason they have been able to do that is because of bush. The reasons listed change every god damned time we hear them and people seem to forget ffthat we already had a list and then it was proven false and so they get a new list and the old one just fades out no one remembers the fucking lies.As to freeing the people of Iraq, fuck them. They did not ask for our help, there was no rebellion no uprising no anything that they then said please help us to get rid of this evil leader......... You people seem to be forgetting that we went in for our own false reasons and as the truth has come out we have changed to saying we needed to do this, it was to free and liberate the people of Iraq who are now worse off then before.Power has not been restored to half of the country, nor has drinking water. the people hate us and want us gone. There was no Terrorist (aside from Saddam himself) in Iraq before bush went in and did this, now its Iraqis killing Iraqis different factions of what ever god they want to have fighting each other and Al Queda siding up as insurgents with anyone who's against the US. Bush invading Iraq created a state of terrorist, it gave them power, they say holy war and people come from every where to join them in the fight and maybe it is since we are there for no good god damned reason, we are not the world police we have no business being there to take care of them we went in against UN sanctions. Fuck the world, none asked us in fact the world told us not to and we said fuck you and went in anyway. There was never any evidence that we ever had any reason to start a war. This is not going away any time soon either this is a bigger fuck hole then Vietnam, another bullshit war that was fought over protecting French investments and fucking rubber trees.think it was a step against communism all ya like it was only fucking money and foreign relations.people are cattle and sheep they do what they are told and believe what they are told, I guess thats good, the wolves have to eat after all, I just never knew an idiot with an IQ of less then 80 who is more simian then human would be a wolf.
-
thank you for that post.
Yeah I will keep my mouth shut, this administration is good at screwing people over.
-
In reply to: okay no offense to you, but you need to be in the US for this one. Not being in the US means I just dont give a damn about his social policies. I judge only hid foreign policies. That being said if I were an American I'd vote Democrat PROVIDED they had a similar foreign policy.Iran war does not equal nuclear war if we can keep Pakistan out of it.If Bush increases business for oil companies then so be it, I dont care, its Iran I care about.
