ROFL!!! Love the shirt Bob!!! I'd buy it hehe

How would you like the boards improved?
-
How would we pay for this? send money by mail?? Not everyone on here has a credit card
-
Its donations. If somebody can't or doesn't want to pay then its a shame, but they won't be kicked off the site or anything. For anyone who wants to and can pay, we could set up an A2A PayPal account or something. Altho if anyone lives close enough, they could send it by mail if they wanted to.The only problem being that since this site has a lot of young people, there wouldn't be a lot of people capable of paying.
-
So would I, ha ha. It'd be good advertising for the site too. You could print www.afraidtoask.com on the back.
-
It's through the website [www.cafepress.com.][0] Granted you'd need a credit card or a debit card with a Visa or MasterCard symbol to purchase the products.
But as Bob said it would just be a donation and not something expected of all members to do. Just something to help the production of this site.

ATA paypal would work... I would so buy your t-shirt bob! Could you imagine actually running into someone locally wearing it!!! HAHA!!! The poor dude who was just diagnosed with genetal warts or something!
-
it had occured to me to make up t-shirts if a bunch of us were to ever get together for a weekend someplace. Of course, I have a sneaking suspicion that they might all end up in a pile on the floor before the weekend is over.
-
A couple drinks in me and it would be off in an hour.
-
oh alsooooo we should have music... on the boards like on myspace lol just so when I log on everyonce in a while I can be like "yeaah that's my jam" you know... there's an Abi moment I'm doneor rather....look at it as a way of getting to know people personality-wise...like...nessness.
-
You and me both hon... just ask my buddies who've seen what I do when I get tipsy lmaoI actually think that the donations and the shirt thing is a great idea... but do you think the doc would go for it?
-
oh... while im thinking of it, can you possibly turn off the time limit on post editing? That gets pretty annoying imo.
-
Or possibly, just increase the amount of time we have to do it, like more than an hour at least, 12 hours would be nice. If possible you could make it mandatory that it says "post edited by XXX on XX/XX/XX" all the time or after an hour if you know how to program that since the increased time might potentially give rise to greater confusion with responses replying to something that doesn't exist. Actually, on that note, it might be reasonable, if it's possible once again, to limit edit time to 1 hour if the post is replied to (the way it is all the time right now), but a longer or indefinite period of time if it's left unresponded.Would I be correct to assume that it's a program issue though and would require some programming or a new program to change these things?
-
There aren't that many options. I can change the time though. What time does everyone think is appropriate. I thiink the limit is there so that people can't go back and change their post and then claim they did/didn't say something, especially if it was inflammatory.
-
I would say like an hour or hour and a half would be good....anything above a half hour, ya know?
-
It is an hour, isn't it?
-
Well, I can still edit my post, so it must be. Oops.
-
I think the time is fine as it is, it gives me lots of time to correct any spelling mistakes that I spot.
-
I'd leave the time as it is sdp. There's plenty of time to spot and change typos with the time limit we have at the moment. I think people should have to stand over what they've said and not be able to go back hours and hours later (probably when they've thought the better of it!) and possibly change the entire content of a post. If someone has forgotten a point or has something else to add they can always just add to it in another post.
-
>What time does everyone think is appropriate
long enough to sober up and reconsider

RobBob, your avatar is a _**huge**_ file. Can you reduce it to 90x90?
