She is sexy, but she has short hair now. Girls with short hair are No-Go.She's even sexier when she wears spandex Batman!

Do you find BLACK WOMEN sexy or attractive?
-
Sorry I am not a fan of Halle Berry. And personally I don't think she's all that attractive. And I'd like to add, she's no Storm lol
-
She's a much better Catwoman then Storm, that's for sure!
-
Have to agree with you on that one hon, im not a fan of halle berry at all.
-
In reply to:but I'm getting tired of people lusting over her like she's the only black woman on Earth. Well, I know there are a few of us a2a members that lust over you.
-
Tyra wears too much make-up; only Oprah can get away with wearing all that eyeliner and mascara without looking like a raccoon. Or does she...ponders
-
Hey, I mean, "black [skin] don't crack". To ALL on the forum:Whether anyone believes black women are attractive or not, we do age gracefully!
-
Oprah blows! Tyra is sexy, and thats final right A.W?
-
I'm mixed (black and white) I think it depends on the person if black women are sexy or not. To me i think some are and some aren't.White guys are always flirting with me. If your black or not. Just if you are pretty and have a great personaly etc. when u find a girl that is black they should go out. Don't care what others think. If your in love stay with that person because of them not there color

The 'do you find black women attratcive?' question reminds me of a debate I was involved in years ago about black v white womens vocal talents. There was strong debate raging about wheather the sort of lighter sweeter higher-pitched white females vocals were superior compared to the deeper sultrier more soulful black womens vocals; my argument was that you really couldnt compare two beautiful sounds that were so different; I think the same thing stands for the visual as well as the audible..

for...15 years I thought I had this low deep voice until I heard myself on the phone, tv, and message. I have this squeaky voice like what. my friends tell me I sound like a little girl on the phone. that's messed up. I'm still convinced it's just their hearing. I don't like high-pitched voices though. It gets annoying after a while. Good thing I sound different to myself lol. Currently I have no voice though.

Did he expand on that comment at all? Did your latino friend ask him why?
-
Pity. I'd be interested in hearing somebodys argument against interracial dating. I dont think it's possible to form a valid intellectual argument opposing it, but it would be interesting to hear somebody try.
-
half my family and friends who by the way are 50% mixed themselves. idiots. I told you how much flack my sister got for getting in engaged to her fiance. She was about to be disowned.
-
"Shes funny, tough, sassy..."I'd rather haved soft, warm and sexy. Queen Latifa has an attitude that's like a pebble in your shoe...interesting at first, but gets on your nerves after awhile. There's a lot of others I'd rather date before Tyra Banks...she just looks kinda fake to me.

I must ask my boyfriend about that. He was a Jehovahs Witness for years, so he studied the bible a fair bit. I'd be interested to know if it says so anywhere in there. Personally though, I wouldnt pay credence to that assertion even if the bible stated it in the clearest terms. The bible maintains that women are unclean and unfit to prepare food during their period and also spouts strong overtures regarding male superiority etc, so I wouldnt be too bothered by much of its 'wisdom'. People are entitled to believe what they want and I'm not trying to pour water on anyones beliefs, just to state that, as a non-practicing Catholic, they are not mine.

yeah eventually lol. they've started to look past his.... caucasianness ever since him and his brothers beat them at football. best day of my life. his family too is really nice but his cousin has a bad habit of acting "gangta" thinking he's a... "wangsta" lol and my dad has a bit of a problem with that. otherwise it's fine.

I spoke to my boyfriend about that last night by the way. He said that there is reference in the old testament discouraging 'Jews from marrying gentiles' and in the new testament encouraging 'marraige within the Lord', meaning the Christians should be encouraged to marry other Christinans. He also said that the new testament reference was an encouragement and not a cast-iron decree. In any case, both of those references are religious, not racial in any way. He said that nowhere did he ever come across an instruction forbidding inter-racial marraige, nor ever heard it mentioned by other studying witnesses. He spent ten years as a witness studying the Bible daily, so I reckon he should know.I would imagine (and this is guess-work here, but I think I may be right) that because in the days the Bible was written religion would have been more endemic to people of different races, i.e. most people of a certain geographical area would have been of the one religion, that people have taken those Bible instructions and interpreted them to suit their own purposes.Anway I just thought I'd pass that on so you can mention those bible references if you should hear somebody voicing that opinion again. I'd also ask them to direct you to the scripture, as from what I can make out it dosent exist.
-
It seems so, but they have distorted its meaning utterly. I'm kind of gobsmacked someone would express such an opinion about inter-racial relationships infront of a group of people of different races (I'm assuming this was in a classroom setting?) How did people respond to her?? I'd imagine in a lot of cases a comment like that would be likely followed by an arse-kickin, ha ha.

That's actually quite sad Sexpot; of course I know that these attitudes exist, but I didnt realise that they were so socially acceptable where you live. It's a pity the discussion wasnt taken further (I'm assuming it wasnt) People who take stances like that should be made to stand over them and argue them on a logical and intellectual level, because if they were I think it would become apparent fairly rapidly that they have no basis in logicistics or any intellectual sphere.Personally I find attitudes based in ignorance easy to dismiss. I hope you feel the same. Living in that sort of social climate as a black woman, I would imagine you would need to.
