In reply to: I have NO clue where young kids get these ideas. Totally my point. You can't leave it up to school etc to teach your kids about sex, parents have to do it.

Survey: Many teenagers have oral sex
More than half of teens ages 15-19 say they've had oral sex, according to the first federal survey data available on the subject. The report, released Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is based on data collected in 2002. An analysis of the data by the non-profit research group Child Trends says that those who have had oral sex include almost a quarter of teens who have not had intercourse and consider themselves virgins. "Some teens do not consider oral sex to be sex," says Child Trends' senior research associate Jennifer Manlove. The group notes that teens most likely to have engaged in oral sex are white kids from families with above-average incomes and education. --- Sharon Jayson

In reply to:and another thing, you sound like one hell of a parent. Thanks Walken... That means a lot to me....

Well, though I am sure I won't be popular for saying this.. but I don't think oral sex takes away virginity (Though probably wouldn't be the first choice for a virgin sacrific LoL JK!). But that's my belief. Now anytime of actual intercourse and yeah bye bye to virginity.

Steve…That’s a very informative news brief. I didn’t know the numbers were up so high….My daughter is in part of those statistic numbers…. This one hits home…How scary!

In reply to: Well, though I am sure I won't be popular for saying this... but I don't think oral sex takes away virginity. But that's my belief. Eddie…I can kind of agree with this. I don’t think oral sex takes away their virginity. It takes away their innocence, When their innocence is gone too soon, their perception of reality, as underdeveloped as it is, is changed forever.

Totally agree with taking away their innocence =-)
-
"Virginity" has virtually no meaning.
-
if i barely even touched a girls pussy i would go around telling everyone im not a virgin anymore!
-
That would be pretty meaningless.

Innocence is pretty much rare now a days. Is losing your virginity at such a young age really something to be proud about? Is it really that much of an accomplishment? That's pretty sad if it is. This generation stinks and if this keeps up so will the next one. The only innocence you can find now a days will most likely be from a new born baby. Virgins should be proud they haven't lost it yet. I know I am. And I guess it is pretty tough to keep it. But I thought that was something to treasure until you were actually ready. Obviously not. But if you're getting married and you've already had sex aren't you supposed to wear any color except white since white is supposed to be a sign of purity. I was told you were to wear red. Unless my friend was just being spiteful again

Innocence is pretty much rare now a days.even in the old days, it was a lot rarer than you may think. People just didn't talk about it. It was a more hypocritical era.> But if you're getting married and you've already had sex aren't you supposed to wear any color except white since white is supposed to be a sign of purity. That's silly. If that were true, hardly any bride would wear white.I won't judge any young person who choses to remain a virgin, whatever that may mean to them, but I might judge someone in his or her 30's who still is.

What does "innocence" mean in this context?
-
not having sex? or being a pervert" wait actually not that's not possible. everyone's a perv.
